We’re back with another video. Now, I want to talk about why you keep relapsing on nofap. Why you are unable to resist the temptation to fall into lust. And look, not even 4 months ago, I was addicted. I was addicted to this stuff. Like, I couldn’t stop going on it. And at times, it felt like I was out of control of my body. Like, it literally felt like sometimes I was watching my body do it, but my mind was like, « No, I don’t want to do this. » But then you’re doing it. You know it’s wrong. You know, you don’t want to do it, but you do it anyway. And this sin, sexual sin in in general, darkens your heart like no other sin. I don’t think there’s a sin that darkens you more than sexual sin. Of course, you could talk about murder and stuff like that, but one that we do on a regular basis that us men are trapped in, that we are stuck in, that we can’t get out of. This sin is dark. It darkens your heart. It distorts you as a man. And I think it is one of the most dangerous sins to continuously fall into. And in this video, I want to share with you three tips on how you can overcome this continuous relapse, which often times you can feel out of control of. So the first thing you need to do is raise your emotional awareness. You need to become aware of the emotional triggers that are causing you to want to escape. Because we have two kinds of triggers. We have the obvious triggers which is like you’re scrolling on Twitter or you’re on Instagram and you see a naked woman and then suddenly you go, « Oh, nice. Maybe I should. » I’m not talking about those kind of triggers. I’m talking about the emotional triggers. What is it you’re escaping? Because at the end of the day, we need to change our perspective on what corn use is, right? It is an escape. It’s self soothing. We are escaping something uncomfortable. Now, this is going to be hard at first because many of us men are just emotionally numb, right? We as men as as in this generation have not been able to tap into our feelings on how we actually feel. Instead, we’ve, you know, always escaped it with video games. We’ve always been scrolling on Tik Tok, Instagram, maybe smoking weed like I was. And we never really give ourselves the opportunity to actually look within and go, how do I actually feel? What’s going on within me? What emotions am I escaping? You know, what’s the perspective and the self-image I have on myself? Why why do I feel shameful? Why do I feel guilty? Where is this coming from? And this is one of the most important things you can do to overcoming this sin is understand what emotion you’re escaping and ask yourself where did this emotion spawn from? Where is this force of energy, this darkness coming from? What is the root of this? Because oftent times we might be in the present day feeling this state of fear and despair or this fear of judgment or these different types of fears that manifest in the present day. But if you actually looked at it, you’d realize this isn’t coming out of nowhere. This isn’t coming out of just like thin air. There’s a root to this emotion. And often times the best way I can explain it is let’s say when you were younger you had quite a negative experience. Let’s say you were bullied, right? This is an easy one to use. You were bullied on a regular basis throughout school. You have memories of that moment perhaps like you were sat at a table and there was a group of people ridiculing you. And in that moment, you felt weak. You felt defenseless. You felt this inner rage that you couldn’t express because you were scared and you froze. Right? That memory is there and that memory holds an emotion. Now in that time when you was 16, 17, 18, maybe even 24, I don’t know, you emotionally shut down. You might have numbed yourself. Perhaps you were smoking weed at that time. Perhaps you were playing many video games. Perhaps even at that time your porn addiction was really bad. So you came home and you just fapped like you just boom. And what happens is that unprocessed emotion from that memory is now causing you in the present day to relive that experience unknowingly. And it might even be manifesting as a visualization into the future. That that is the problem. That is what you need to look at. That is what you need to feel. You need to process that emotion. You need to process what you’re escaping from that memory. It may not be obvious. It may not be that you’re sat there and you’re thinking, « Oh, that time I was bullied made me really sad. » No, you’re feeling that energy and it’s spawning and manifesting into a different way in the present moment, causing you to feel uncomfortable. and you want to escape cuz that pain is unbearable. It’s a hard pain. It’s not nice. So, you need to raise your emotional awareness. Understand what emotions you’re escaping, what fears you’re escaping, what self-perspective you’re escaping, and self-examine. Where’s this coming from? Why do I feel this way? And the most important thing is to process that emotion. Process it. It’s going to hurt. It’s not easy. But this is what you have to do. You have to learn to feel. You have to learn to feel as a man. This generation doesn’t know how to feel because we are so emotionally disconnected. But you have to learn to feel and bring it to God. Like this is the thing. You bring that emotion. You bring that experience. You bring how you felt in that moment to God. And you express that pain to him. You express how you feel in that moment to him. And you let him put the stamp of victory on that. You let his light shine down into that darkness so it can light up and it no longer controls you. Because as long as that memory and that energy stays in the dark, it stays suppressed, I’m sorry to tell you, but just cuz you’re forgetting about it, just because you’re pushing it aside and escaping it, it’s going to continuously affect your life for the foreseeable future until you look at it. Until you look at it and you’re able to process it and say, « This doesn’t control me anymore. God is good. » That’s what you have to do. So, that is probably one of the most important parts of this video, right? Emotional awareness. understand why what you’re escaping, why you’re escaping, when did this verse happen, and process it. Now, the second thing is you probably don’t hate the sin enough, right? You probably still have a soft spot for pornography. You probably still have a soft spot for masturbation, right? Perhaps you say sometimes like, « Oh, yeah, I really want to stop this. » But then in the next sentence, you’re saying, « Oh, but it feels so good though. Like, it’s like I can’t stop it. Like, it’s great. » That narrative, you need to cut it off. almost behead it out of your system. You need to behead that. Cut it off. When that voice of tolerance comes in and it goes, « Oh, it’s bad. Like, it’s kind of nice. Like, it feels so. » Don’t even let that voice speak. Cut it off. When your imagination begins to fantasize different, you know, sexual images or is tempting you, switch your imagination off. Turn that thing off because that will eventually lead you into the physical sin. It all starts in the mental and the spiritual. You need to learn to turn the imagination off. Turn that that voice of tolerance off. You need to change your emotional perspective on this sin. Like I hate porn so much. I hate it. There is not a tolerant part of me that goes, « Oh, I I like this. » No. When that voice pops up, I cut it out. I cut it out because it’s a temptation. that that voice of tolerance is is softness. It’s weakness and it’s going to lead you into that sin eventually. And the thing is, maybe you’re thinking, « But Jacob, how can I like change my emotional perspective? » Like, what does this mean? You know what? Yeah, let’s say you’ve relapsed recently or in the near future, let’s say you relapse. God forbid, right? But God forbid, but perhaps you do. I want you to sit in that pain. I want you to sit in the pain of that relapse and write a letter to your future self. Go into detail of how bad you feel right there. Talk about how bad it’s made you feel and how much you regret it. Talk about how much it’s darkening your soul and your heart and write a letter to your future self and pop it in your phone. Like put if you got a case, small piece of paper, just put it in there. And the next time you get tempted, take that piece of paper out and relive that moment. relive that moment of regret of that sin that you did that made you feel dark and remind yourself of how it made you feel because you need to remember that this sin is horrid. It’s dark and it cannot be tolerated. We need to get it out of our system. Seriously, it puts a wall up sometimes it feels like between you and God. That darkness is so dark that sometimes it can make us feel like we can’t even connect to God anymore. So we have to be intolerant to this sin and we have to hate it and you have to remind yourself why you hate it on a regular basis. Now lastly, it’s about guarding your heart and your mind and your eyes most specifically. So an easy example is when you’re scrolling on Instagram, Tik Tok, which you should be trying to, you know, get off those apps as much as you can, stop being a consumer as much, but when you’re scrolling, it’s inevitable that you’re going to see something, right? Like it’s just the way the algorithm works. It’s actually quite disgusting how that works. Like eventually you’re going to see some degenerate stuff. Turn on not interested. Whenever those things pop up, don’t even give yourself a second to admire or lust over it. Click those three buttons. Not interested. Don’t show me again. Right? You This is the thing. You need to clear up your environment. You can’t be allowing these little images of women and you know half naked women pop up on your screen because that’s a temptation. It’s going to start some arousal and it’s going to cause you eventually to probably go sin and especially if you’re kind of like stuck in this cycle. Yo, that sort of stuff will trigger you so hard that probably in an hour you’re going to go do it. Maybe 6 hours from there you start kind of like, you know, fantasizing about it and then 6 hours later you do it. Like you need to become intolerant and you need to block it every time you see it. Likewise, when you’re walking in the streets, right? Like, let’s be real, there’s pretty women everywhere. There’s attractive women everywhere. Don’t look at them. Respect your attention. Especially in the gym. If you go to the gym, it’s inevitable you’re going to see a girl in really tight, you know, leggings and a really tight bra and stuff like that. Like, don’t pay attention to it best you can. Like, it’s hard. Don’t get me wrong. Like, you’re going to probably double look. And it’s it’s a difficult struggle, right? It’s it’s not easy. I’m going to admit myself. But, you need to discipline yourself. You need to respect your attention. Like what do you gain looking at that woman? What what do you actually gain by looking at that half naked woman at the gym? Nothing. Why are you giving your attention to her in the first place? Why are you giving her this sexual attention? Respect your attention. Bring it back to yourself. Focus on the workout. And it’s going to be hard. But this is the discipline that you need to have if you want to overcome this sexual sin, especially in this western world which is so overly sexualized. So overly sexualized. You need to learn to control your body. You need to learn to control your mind, your eyes, where your attention’s going. And you need to discipline yourself. Because otherwise, if you just freely let your eyes go everywhere, you staring. Oh, looking at, oh, look at this. I’m going to stare at this and zoom in. Like, you’re doing yourself no favor. And again, it goes back to the second point. This all comes once you start hating the sin. You need to realize what it’s doing to you. And all these other things will come into action. So, I hope this video helps. If you’ve relapsed, God bless you. Get back up. Repent and you’re strong. You can get through this. I’ll tell you the truth. There were times this year where I was like, I don’t even know if I can ever quit this. I was in like a two-year cycle of self-sabotage. And now it’s been like two and a bit months. And it is possible. It’s possible to get out. Remain strong. Remain watchful, vigilant, and guard your eyes. And you can get through this. Glory to God. Have a good day. .

.08 Yes, boys. We’re back with another
.36 video. Now, I want to talk about why you
.96 keep relapsing on nofap. Why you are
.279 unable to resist the temptation to fall
.52 into lust. And look, not even 4 months
.639 ago, I was addicted. I was addicted to
.759 this stuff. Like, I couldn’t stop going
.519 on it. And at times, it felt like I was
.72 out of control of my body. Like, it
.4 literally felt like sometimes I was
.92 watching my body do it, but my mind was
.56 like, « No, I don’t want to do this. » But
.92 then you’re doing it. You know it’s
.599 wrong. You know, you don’t want to do
.72 it, but you do it anyway. And this sin,
.399 sexual sin in in general, darkens your
.04 heart like no other sin. I don’t think
.559 there’s a sin that darkens you more than
.32 sexual sin. Of course, you could talk
.6 about murder and stuff like that, but
.52 one that we do on a regular basis that
.36 us men are trapped in, that we are stuck
.28 in, that we can’t get out of. This sin
.6 is dark. It darkens your heart. It
.84 distorts you as a man. And I think it is
.48 one of the most dangerous sins to
.399 continuously fall into. And in this
.12 video, I want to share with you three
.64 tips on how you can overcome this
.12 continuous relapse, which often times
.36 you can feel out of control of. So the
.6 first thing you need to do is raise your
.0 emotional awareness. You need to become
.08 aware of the emotional triggers that are
.0 causing you to want to escape. Because
.84 we have two kinds of triggers. We have
.36 the obvious triggers which is like
.64 you’re scrolling on Twitter or you’re on
.4 Instagram and you see a naked woman and
.64 then suddenly you go, « Oh, nice. Maybe I
.56 should. » I’m not talking about those
.0 kind of triggers. I’m talking about the
.6 emotional triggers. What is it you’re
.84 escaping? Because at the end of the day,
.52 we need to change our perspective on
.439 what corn use is, right? It is an
.079 escape. It’s self soothing. We are
.439 escaping something uncomfortable.
.4 Now, this is going to be hard at first
.96 because many of us men are just
.64 emotionally numb, right? We as men as as
.68 in this generation have not been able to
.88 tap into our feelings on how we actually
.52 feel. Instead, we’ve, you know, always
.52 escaped it with video games. We’ve
.119 always been scrolling on Tik Tok,
.88 Instagram, maybe smoking weed like I
.88 was. And we never really give ourselves
.96 the opportunity to actually look within
.6 and go, how do I actually feel? What’s
.0 going on within me? What emotions am I
.08 escaping? You know, what’s the
.56 perspective and the self-image I have on
.4 myself? Why why do I feel shameful? Why
.959 do I feel guilty? Where is this coming
.04 from? And this is one of the most
.879 important things you can do to
.08 overcoming this sin is understand what
.08 emotion you’re escaping and ask yourself
.2 where did this emotion spawn from? Where
.92 is this force of energy, this darkness
.04 coming from? What is the root of this?
.76 Because oftent times we might be in the
.08 present day feeling this state of fear
.8 and despair or this fear of judgment or
.16 these different types of fears that
.519 manifest in the present day. But if you
.519 actually looked at it, you’d realize
.879 this isn’t coming out of nowhere. This
.4 isn’t coming out of just like thin air.
.879 There’s a root to this emotion. And
.44 often times the best way I can explain
.76 it is let’s say when you were younger
.4 you had quite a negative experience.
.0 Let’s say you were bullied, right? This
.2 is an easy one to use. You were bullied
.8 on a regular basis throughout school.
.84 You have memories of that moment perhaps
.319 like you were sat at a table and there
.08 was a group of people ridiculing you.
.76 And in that moment, you felt weak. You
.0 felt defenseless. You felt this inner
.72 rage that you couldn’t express because
.4 you were scared and you froze. Right?
.04 That memory is there and that memory
.159 holds an emotion. Now in that time when
.36 you was 16, 17, 18, maybe even 24, I
.239 don’t know, you emotionally shut down.
.159 You might have numbed yourself. Perhaps
.68 you were smoking weed at that time.
.04 Perhaps you were playing many video
.159 games. Perhaps even at that time your
.159 porn addiction was really bad. So you
.92 came home and you just fapped like you
.84 just boom. And what happens is that
.12 unprocessed emotion from that memory is
.84 now causing you in the present day to
.76 relive that experience unknowingly. And
.08 it might even be manifesting as a
.68 visualization into the future.
.64 That that is the problem. That is what
.92 you need to look at. That is what you
.84 need to feel. You need to process that
.159 emotion. You need to process what you’re
.799 escaping from that memory. It may not be
.079 obvious. It may not be that you’re sat
.479 there and you’re thinking, « Oh, that
.519 time I was bullied made me really sad. »
.28 No, you’re feeling that energy and it’s
.759 spawning and manifesting into a
.12 different way in the present moment,
.16 causing you to feel uncomfortable. and
.52 you want to escape cuz that pain is
.04 unbearable. It’s a hard pain. It’s not
.36 nice. So, you need to raise your
.6 emotional awareness. Understand what
.44 emotions you’re escaping, what fears
.8 you’re escaping, what self-perspective
.4 you’re escaping, and self-examine.
.44 Where’s this coming from? Why do I feel
.759 this way? And the most important thing
.44 is to process that emotion. Process it.
.36 It’s going to hurt. It’s not easy. But
.44 this is what you have to do. You have to
.28 learn to feel. You have to learn to feel
.36 as a man. This generation doesn’t know
.4 how to feel because we are so
.08 emotionally disconnected.
.24 But you have to learn to feel and bring
.4 it to God. Like this is the thing. You
.4 bring that emotion. You bring that
.759 experience. You bring how you felt in
.36 that moment to God. And you express that
.759 pain to him. You express how you feel in
.72 that moment to him. And you let him put
.72 the stamp of victory on that. You let
.4 his light shine down into that darkness
.4 so it can light up and it no longer
.56 controls you. Because as long as that
.88 memory and that energy stays in the
.88 dark, it stays suppressed,
.44 I’m sorry to tell you, but just cuz
.8 you’re forgetting about it, just because
.08 you’re pushing it aside and escaping it,
.08 it’s going to continuously affect your
.0 life for the foreseeable future until
.24 you look at it. Until you look at it and
.56 you’re able to process it and say, « This
.32 doesn’t control me anymore. God is
.24 good. » That’s what you have to do. So,
.479 that is probably one of the most
.759 important parts of this video, right?
.12 Emotional awareness. understand why what
.039 you’re escaping, why you’re escaping,
.32 when did this verse happen, and process
.24 it. Now, the second thing is you
.0 probably don’t hate the sin enough,
.919 right? You probably still have a soft
.52 spot for pornography. You probably still
.72 have a soft spot for masturbation,
.72 right? Perhaps you say sometimes like,
.88 « Oh, yeah, I really want to stop this. »
.72 But then in the next sentence, you’re
.919 saying, « Oh, but it feels so good
.52 though. Like, it’s like I can’t stop it.
.52 Like, it’s great. » That narrative, you
.039 need to cut it off. almost behead it out
.0 of your system. You need to behead that.
.919 Cut it off. When that voice of tolerance
.56 comes in and it goes, « Oh, it’s bad.
.96 Like, it’s kind of nice. Like, it feels
.479 so. » Don’t even let that voice speak.
.44 Cut it off. When your imagination begins
.639 to fantasize different, you know, sexual
.319 images or is tempting you, switch your
.88 imagination off. Turn that thing off
.479 because that will eventually lead you
.8 into the physical sin. It all starts in
.039 the mental and the spiritual. You need
.199 to learn to turn the imagination off.
.759 Turn that that voice of tolerance off.
.44 You need to change your emotional
.759 perspective on this sin. Like I hate
.8 porn so much. I hate it. There is not a
.8 tolerant part of me that goes, « Oh, I I
.759 like this. » No. When that voice pops up,
.639 I cut it out. I cut it out because it’s
.12 a temptation. that that voice of
.199 tolerance is is softness. It’s weakness
.56 and it’s going to lead you into that sin
.639 eventually. And the thing is, maybe
.44 you’re thinking, « But Jacob, how can I
.8 like change my emotional perspective? »
.24 Like, what does this mean? You know
.68 what? Yeah, let’s say you’ve relapsed
.36 recently or in the near future, let’s
.12 say you relapse. God forbid, right? But
.56 God forbid, but perhaps you do. I want
.28 you to sit in that pain. I want you to
.759 sit in the pain of that relapse and
.759 write a letter to your future self. Go
.84 into detail of how bad you feel right
.16 there. Talk about how bad it’s made you
.24 feel and how much you regret it. Talk
.24 about how much it’s darkening your soul
.0 and your heart and write a letter to
.759 your future self and pop it in your
.52 phone. Like put if you got a case, small
.16 piece of paper, just put it in there.
.84 And the next time you get tempted, take
.0 that piece of paper out and relive that
.16 moment. relive that moment of regret of
.52 that sin that you did that made you feel
.52 dark and remind yourself of how it made
.479 you feel because you need to remember
.319 that this sin is horrid. It’s dark and
.479 it cannot be tolerated. We need to get
.199 it out of our system. Seriously, it puts
.36 a wall up sometimes it feels like
.28 between you and God. That darkness is so
.919 dark that sometimes it can make us feel
.32 like we can’t even connect to God
.0 anymore. So we have to be intolerant to
.44 this sin and we have to hate it and you
.519 have to remind yourself why you hate it
.599 on a regular basis. Now lastly, it’s
.959 about guarding your heart and your mind
.279 and your eyes most specifically.
.56 So an easy example is when you’re
.44 scrolling on Instagram, Tik Tok, which
.04 you should be trying to, you know, get
.959 off those apps as much as you can, stop
.56 being a consumer as much, but when
.72 you’re scrolling, it’s inevitable that
.32 you’re going to see something, right?
.24 Like it’s just the way the algorithm
.0 works. It’s actually quite disgusting
.76 how that works. Like eventually you’re
.2 going to see some degenerate stuff.
.24 Turn on not interested. Whenever those
.56 things pop up, don’t even give yourself
.8 a second to admire or lust over it.
.839 Click those three buttons. Not
.2 interested. Don’t show me again. Right?
.68 You This is the thing. You need to clear
.519 up your environment. You can’t be
.24 allowing these little images of women
.48 and you know half naked women pop up on
.48 your screen because that’s a temptation.
.32 It’s going to start some arousal and
.08 it’s going to cause you eventually to
.68 probably go sin and especially if you’re
.92 kind of like stuck in this cycle. Yo,
.16 that sort of stuff will trigger you so
.92 hard that probably in an hour you’re
.68 going to go do it. Maybe 6 hours from
.36 there you start kind of like, you know,
.44 fantasizing about it and then 6 hours
.2 later you do it. Like you need to become
.88 intolerant and you need to block it
.24 every time you see it. Likewise, when
.92 you’re walking in the streets, right?
.279 Like, let’s be real, there’s pretty
.8 women everywhere. There’s attractive
.0 women everywhere. Don’t look at them.
.399 Respect your attention. Especially in
.399 the gym. If you go to the gym, it’s
.6 inevitable you’re going to see a girl in
.04 really tight, you know, leggings and a
.04 really tight bra and stuff like that.
.04 Like, don’t pay attention to it best you
.04 can. Like, it’s hard. Don’t get me
.48 wrong. Like, you’re going to probably
.44 double look. And it’s it’s a difficult
.6 struggle, right? It’s it’s not easy. I’m
.12 going to admit myself. But, you need to
.24 discipline yourself. You need to respect
.079 your attention. Like what do you gain
.16 looking at that woman? What what do you
.16 actually gain by looking at that half
.68 naked woman at the gym? Nothing. Why are
.399 you giving your attention to her in the
.24 first place? Why are you giving her this
.72 sexual attention? Respect your
.48 attention. Bring it back to yourself.
.56 Focus on the workout. And it’s going to
.56 be hard. But this is the discipline that
.16 you need to have if you want to overcome
.36 this sexual sin, especially in this
.959 western world which is so overly
.959 sexualized. So overly sexualized.
.8 You need to learn to control your body.
.959 You need to learn to control your mind,
.959 your eyes, where your attention’s going.
.12 And you need to discipline yourself.
.8 Because otherwise, if you just freely
.64 let your eyes go everywhere, you
.92 staring. Oh, looking at, oh, look at
.44 this. I’m going to stare at this and
.64 zoom in. Like, you’re doing yourself no
.519 favor. And again, it goes back to the
.279 second point. This all comes once you
.88 start hating the sin. You need to
.079 realize what it’s doing to you. And all
.92 these other things will come into
.12 action. So, I hope this video helps. If
.279 you’ve relapsed, God bless you. Get back
.68 up. Repent and you’re strong. You can
.68 get through this. I’ll tell you the
.36 truth. There were times this year where
.6 I was like, I don’t even know if I can
.88 ever quit this. I was in like a two-year
.56 cycle of self-sabotage. And now it’s
.12 been like two and a bit months. And it
.279 is possible. It’s possible to get out.
.079 Remain strong. Remain watchful,
.079 vigilant, and guard your eyes. And you
.12 can get through this. Glory to God. Have
.8 a good day.
