speculated like is that really true straight away you’re like oh yeah I know it does because we’ve all felt those symptoms the problem was then and even more now all of the nofap advice is just really bad because nofap in itself is just a really really bad strategy to overcome this problem and it seems like it’s the only strategy right You’ probably thought wa like the way to quit porn is with noap it turns out it’s actually one of the worst ways to quit poor and in masturbation it was so bad that when I was 17 years old and I discovered nofap I was 21 years old 4 years later still struggling so when I’m 21 years old and I’m in University I’m living in like the sort of student Halls like the flats at this point like I was having a lot of sex I had like multiple girlfriends and stuff but I was bigger biceps you do more sets for biceps it’s that simple you you can try and cope all you want but the fastest most brain dead way to make more gains is to basically just do more sets for that muscle something happened to me around this time when I was thinking of the concepts of doing sets like volume basically volume is like number of sets that you do in bodybuilding I’m thinking about all this right and something just clicked I don’t know why I I put the two together and I was like wait oh I know what the hidden problem was the problem with noap is that it makes you focus on the street basically this zero some mind set that when you fapped you’ve lost all the benefits and that you have to start again from zero that hit to your sort of psychological momentum is so painful and you feel so bad and what do you do when you feel bad you often go again when you convince a young man that the problem is that he’s just fapped and so he’s lost all of it and he’s at day Zero a lot of the times he’s going to go and fap again and again because he’s at Day Zero or he’s at day one and he’s going to keep resetting it because he feels like he’s made no progress here was the hidden key I realized that that line of thinking was [ __ ] and actually what was going to help me more was instead of thinking of like the streak and no fap but rather to think about less fap instead of trying to streak I destroyed the word relapse from my mindset and I literally set a goal for how many times I could fap per month and I started it with 25 imagine you setting yourself a goal to jack off 25 times next month it sounds stupid right but the month after that the goal can be 20 the month after that the goal can be 15 then 10 then five and then two and when it’s two times I’m telling you right now when it’s like one two three four times four five times a month it’s not a problem worrying about it at that point is a bigger problem than ejaculating like three four times a month years later
