Uh, this is something I expect people to come back to years after I’ve accomplished, but hopefully I’m doing that I set out to do now. So, this is a start to a series which I call the reawakening series. Ignore the bad handwriting. I probably should have fixed it. Doesn’t matter. So, what the reawakening series is is it’s going to be weekly videos of me going over what I’ve done in the past week. Now, you might be thinking, that’s the most boringest thing ever. Why does everybody do that? You know, what makes this so special? That’s because I’ve dedicated myself to it’s I don’t want to say higher cause. It sounds all noble and everything, but I really want to make a change um in myself. I mean, and I figured what better way to one keep myself going and to two maybe help anybody else in the world than to kind of document it. So, right now I’m average, maybe a little below average. Um, I don’t really got anything going. Um, kind of I feel like every, you know, I got problems, a lot of problems. Um, nothing makes me special, which is perfect because I am hopefully just like a lot of you. Um, yeah, I’m not very fit or whatever. I’m not I don’t know. I don’t got that drip or whatever. Um yeah, we got acne not looking good. So I’m in a perfect you see the posture thing here that So I’m in a perfect uh position to do this. Basically, can someone starting like completely average, not much going on, can they make all the changes that all these, you know, big YouTubers are saying that people can do? Um, is there even a point to trying or starting? I feel like that’s a question that’s a question I have and that’s a question I feel like a lot of other people might have cuz you see these guys um who claim they started from nothing whatever and then you see all these comments on YouTube but how do you actually know that’s what the series is for that’s what this reawakening series is for is I’m going to show and I’m promising to dedicate myself to this if you can actually change Simple enough. So that’s what the re reawakening series is. Um right now we just started with something simple but something that I think is vital I guess to um to the whole thing. It’s a good starting point that is see if I can try That is nofap. No fap’s a big one. Nofap is kind of a buzz word, I feel like. Here, let me write it. No fap. That’s kind of a big one. Um, everybody’s, you know, trying to do it, but nobody can seem to do it because it’s like really hard. Um, so I just managed to do this. And little disclaimer, I’m only on day 14. So, write that down. Yeah. So, I’m on day 14. You might be thinking, well, that’s not that long. That’s uh that’s not Okay. This is the longest I’ve ever been by. Let’s do the past. So, I’ve been fapping for about five years now. No good. Um, and in the past of all that time, the longest I’ve ever gone, 7 days. I am double that now. So, you might be thinking, what changed? Well, couple things. First of all was the mindset. Um, and that kind of goes with the whole series thing. you know, I kind of have a purpose now. Um, I have a reason. Break past the seven. I want to help the world. I want to help you guys if anybody’s watching. And in order to do that, I need to break free. And that’s what I’ve been doing so far. Honestly, I’ve been doing pretty well. Um, I’m not even really thinking about it except for making this video because I want to show you guys that it’s possible. Now, I’m going to go over the couple things that I did to breakfast. Okay, so first of all, I what I did was and I’m not going to go over everything because I guess you could say like there’s the whole cold showers. I didn’t even do cold showers. Um, which I tried to do but it didn’t work. So, I wouldn’t recommend that. Although I do want to do cold showers, but not for that reason. That makes sense. Cold showers are good. But if you think they’re the key to nofap, you’re kind of mistaken. So there’s that and then there’s like the whole like trying to get yourself busy. Honestly, the weird thing is when I broke this, I wasn’t even doing anything. Like I wasn’t even thinking about that. Um I actually spent a couple days like at home because of circumstances. Um I couldn’t do anything. And I was still I was still fine. You could say that the busyiness might have helped me, but I’ve been busy before. Um, so what is it? And that’s why I’m going to go to my first point is we’re just going to draw I don’t know if this is I don’t know. YouTube. I made YouTube shorts every day. Not a lot of people watched them. I did get a couple comments like supporting, but actually my first ever comment told me not to do it. Um, not in like a mean way, but in like a why. Um, that actually helped me out though cuz it made me think about why I want to do this formulating this series which I’m starting today. So, I would recommend making a YouTube short every single day to kind of document it. Not for anybody else. Not to get views or whatever. For yourself, okay? Uh don’t say the days. I did that originally. Just don’t don’t even think about the days. Don’t write on a calendar. Don’t do anything. Just think about don’t even think about not. I’ll get into it. Okay? Just make a video saying how you feel, what you did. Um, for me, I started going to the gym, too. So, that kind of helped, I guess, um, because I was focused on other things. That’s the second thing I want to go over. All right. Draw dumbbells. Now, I’m not saying go to the gym. What I’m saying is do something that you don’t normally do that you want to do at the same time you’re trying to do no fat. something that isn’t going to completely override your life is isn’t going to be super I don’t know that’s like exhaustion. You don’t want that. Don’t do something that’s going to super exhaust your life. Like I didn’t go crazy at the gym. I just did like 30 minutes to an hour a day. But because I was focusing on two things at once, I had to put one of them kind of on the sideline um to think about the other. So gym and then also I started like eating healthier and stuff. Um that kind of made me think less about this. Okay. So having something else helps you and talk about that something else in your YouTube video. So you’re training yourself to think about this. Okay. So that’s also just the next thing is just brain. Don’t even think about it. Don’t even think about it. Don’t think about how good you’re doing, anything like that. Forget about it. This is kind of my goodbye to this too. Um, after this, I’m not going to make a video about it except for like maybe like a year or something. Maybe 30 days, I don’t know. But by then, I won’t even care. Um, by then it’s not like temptation or anything. What I will say is that if you do this where you’re training yourself to not think about this and to think about all the other stuff you’re doing by like day seven, like day seven was way easier than I thought it was going to be. And day seven is usually super hard. The reason day seven was super hard cuz I made it super hard. I thought about it as, well, this is the this is the furthest I’ve ever gone. This is going to be hard. So therefore, it was hard. When you’re not thinking about it, you’re not thinking about it being day seven. It’s just any other day. This was on Sunday, too. It was on a weekend. You’re not doing anything on a weekend. Well, you are, but not as much as any other day. I didn’t think about that. I wasn’t even doing anything that day. I didn’t even think about it. That’s how I got past. Okay. So, we have YouTube. we have doing something else and trying to not think about it. The next thing and this is probably one of the biggest things was well let me let me go over something real quick. One thing that really helped me was this video which I’ll put in the comments. I don’t I’m sorry I don’t actually remember this guy’s name. It was like Seb something. Um but he was going over the whole not thinking about Nofap. So this kind of ties into this. He listed all these things that you shouldn’t do. What I recommend is going to that video um because I don’t know if I can put it in the comments or not. You know, I’ll put it in the comments or not the sorry, the description. So, if you want to look at that, that’s everything that I did. I would watch the full video though. Watch it couple times, really think about it, then focus on doing all the things he says not to do. But I would add another thing. This might be very hard. So, I got rid of social media. I got rid of it. Um, I got rid of social media. That includes YouTube. I wasn’t watching any YouTube. So, all these videos I want to watch like self-help related. I’m going back to now. But at the time, I got rid of I got rid of everything else. Okay. You might be thinking, why I can’t do that? You know, all these things I have to do or whatever. Just forget about it. Okay. Please. Um, now for the final thing. Final thing is I stopped using my phone. Really, I’ve loosened up on that. I’ve started using my phone again, which I got to calm down on. But for like especially the first week or like getting to the point where you are getting to like your furthest you’ve ever been, don’t use your phone. Um, all it’s going to do is just trigger it. Even when it’s not time you normally do it, it’s just going to trigger it. I would suggest getting your phone to under an hour screen time cuz sometimes you still got to use it under an hour. Really, I would do like almost nothing. What I would do is if you have a computer, what I’ve done is I’ve done everything on my phone on my computer. Might be thinking, well, that’s the same thing. Well, when I use my computer, I’ve gone to the library. So, that’s another thing is being in an open place. Draw house. Okay. I went to the library to use my uh computer to do stuff I would do on my phone, searching anything. So, that way anything that’s suspicious, everybody else will see it. I specifically chose an area where my I’m facing a wall. So the computer screen is faced towards everyone else. So you’re not doing anything sus when there’s a whole building full of people there, right? Even if they’re all looking at their books, whatever. So yeah. So I went there to go do my work or search or anything. And whenever I like thought of something I want to search up, I had to like write it down. So, it sounds out of the way, but trust me, this will help you out. It’ll get you off the phone, which is just good in general because you don’t want that stuff going in your um like the radiation or whatever is like all these rays and stuff goes on you not good in any way. So, you kind of just want to avoid that. Um, so by only doing the computer, you know, it’s for a longer stretch of time because you got to do all these things at once, but really because you’re spending all this time away from it, you’re kind of saving yourself. So, I’d recommend doing that. Um, yeah, and these are all the kind of things that I would recommend. So, let me just recap. No f double days. How did I do that? I made YouTube videos. I did like dumbbells. Uh, I worked out. I found other things to do. I didn’t even think about it. I trained myself to just not think about about streaks, nothing. Got rid of social media, anything that could tempt me. Just stopped using my phone in general. Switched to a computer. And when I was on my computer, I only worked in like libraries and stuff. So, I was in public. I couldn’t do anything that I wouldn’t do in public. Wouldn’t do it in public. Video might not be for you and you might have bigger problems to worry about. So, there you go. That’s nofap and this is the first episode of the reawakening series. This one was kind of long. I’ll work on short ending it, but really I just wanted to get somewhere to start.
