Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: I have a lot of respect for the Nofap movement. It started off as a forum to help men break free from their PMO addictions It made them aware of the consequences and offered them a way out. That’s initially how I started my Nofap journey. There was this one particular period of my life where I was just feeling low and everything on the outside was looking good You know, I was studying, I had jobs lined up, I had relationships, I was socializing, I was exercising, and everything seemed to be going good on the outside, but inside, there was this emptiness. Anytime I felt some sort of discomfort, I would go and engage in the behavior. And upon finishing, I just noticed that I was feeling even more worse. So I had the genius idea of Googling is P bad for you And I was met with the Nofap forum I read everything, and it all made sense to me. Over the years of consuming this, I had created a dependency, an addiction, and this addiction, this behavior, had a lot of consequences. It was ruining my brain, this superstimulating activity it was ruining my brain slowly and steadily and making me feel less sensitive sensitized towards life. So normal things just didn’t make me feel anything, hence explaining the empty feeling. So I decided then and there that I would stop. And what Nofap recommends you to do is to abstain for a certain period of time. The symbolic number is 90, as you’ve probably read and heard before. So I would have to go 90 days where I’m abstaining from this behavior and I would need to install productive behaviors instead. So every time I’m urging, I would meditate, journal, go exercise, cold shower, and just feel my day with productive habits as to enforce a healthy lifestyle. And I’m not saying anything against this. This in and of itself is good, you should be doing these things. But unfortunately, in my experience and in the experience of many others, it’s not the permanent solution. Because eventually, you try to upgrade your life, right And through that upgrade, you manage to go one day, 10 days, 100 days without, but most of the time you still relapse in the end. and that’s where I think Nofap leaves you empty handed, because it’s not really focusing on the real issue. The real issue is that PMO addiction is neuroplasticity, okay? It’s a a programming of the mind that true repeated behavior has created itself to effectively find PMO again in different situations. It wants to to find PMO because your brain sees it as a reward, as something that is giving you something, and that’s why it’s highly valuable Your brain will not forget this value, all of PMO, hence, you will always crave it, and when you crave it and try to abstain from it, then your brain sees it as a sacrifice, like your giving something up and that you’re punishing yourself by not engaging. And it is this that is always leading you back to a relapse, because as long as there’s this Paradigm in your brain that see PMO as something valuable, then you will always suffer upon giving up And sure, you might have felt periods of just feeling great and good because you’re not engaging, but you still go back. So this is true, this statement that I just made. And it was true for me because I went quite a long times without, and I would always find my way back. So I would just go in this loop of saying that it’s my fault, it’s because I didn’t meditate hard enough, I didn’t exercise hard hard enough. No man, it’s because I had sugar, so I need to stop eating sugar, and I just need to go and do more productive stuff because when I do that, then I won’t relapse again. Lo and behold, I still relapse, and the cycle would just continue for years, man. I would try new things, it would work a little, and then I would relapse. And I would beat myself up, get back up, try again, and again, and again, and again, and and although this is or can be considered, progress, because I went from doing it multiple times a day to every couple of weeks or months, it still wasn’t enough for me. It wasn’t until I noticed that when my brain is urging, it is almost like there’s this voice speaking to me. There’s this part of my brain that is rationalizing just another relapse, and it would use whatever it can get his hands on to make that happen So it would say that yeah, man, you know, you didn’t sleep good today, and it was stressful at school or work, and you just need to kick back and relax. And, you know, you saw that picture on Instagram. You’re not going to get it out of your head so, bro, just get it over with, man. Just do it, and from tomorrow on, we will delete Instagram and, yeah, that will be the problem That will be the solution to our problems, all right So it wasn’t until I noticed that there’s this part of me that is addicted. And this part is communicating with me to make me relapse. So it is telling me lies to get what it wants. And once you realize this, I mean, obviously, it’s just neuroplasticity. It is this addicted programming of the mind. It is this addictive part, or addicted part But once you realized this, like I did, I decided to give it a persona. I would call it the Parasite, because I saw this picture from a video game that was just a really creepy picture, but it just felt like this is what it was. There’s this parasite in me that is forcing me almost or rationalizing me trying to have me to rationalize for me to engage in the behavior time and time again. So I decided to sit down and write out word by word exactly what this parasite was telling me. And the reason I did that was just to analyze it, in a sense, just to see what was going on inside my mind. because obviously there was something going on. I knew I wanted to stop, and every time I relapse, I would tell myself, this is it, never again, I’m never going back, but I would go back. So I was just curious, what is going on here. And I would grab my journal, and I would just write out, word by word, what the parasite is telling me. And upon doing it, I had a full page almost of just plain lies. It would say something like, you need to do it because you’re risking prostate cancer, you need to do it because you’re stressed and you just need to relieve yourself. It’s OK, everyone else is doing it. Bro, you saw this picture on Instagram. You need to get it out of your head. It’s because you’re not disciplined enough, so just do it now and then tomorrow we will level up our discipline. We will start this whole new program of this and that and blah, blah, blah. And once I had written it down, I could just read how stupid it was. And it was stupid because it’s all lies. It’s all lies, and it was as if I was talking to someone that I know is lying to my face and you almost get the satisfaction of knowing that they’re lying, but they don’t know that you know, right? And I decided to answer it, and I answered it with the truth. And the truth was that, OK, I am tired, I didn’t sleep the best but will PMO solve that? It will just numb out this feeling that I have for a couple of minutes, and then I will be left feeling even worse. I would feel overwhelmed, I would feel more stressed, because now I feel incapable of fixing the things that are the issues, which will leave the more stress. So it’s not really a solution, then, is it for for me to PMO, and I’m not really aroused. I’m just looking it’s just my brain that is looking for a hit It’s not my body that needs this, because, to be honest man, your body doesn’t need it that much. Your body doesn’t need it multiple times a day or every couple of weeks. And if it did, you would go and chase the natural thing, not pixels on a screen, and even see saying that out loud just makes you realize how stupid it is OK? So I would just answer it with the truth. And when saying the truth out loud, it’s like you’re training your brain to recognize that this pattern is not the right one, it’s not good, it’s not doing you anything And once you realize that it’s not doing you anything, then you teach yourself to see it as less valuable, and since it’s less valuable, you’re not missing something, all right? You’re not giving anything up. There’s no sacrifice. There’s no sacrifice in me Like, if I were to start hitting my head on the wall and look forward to the relief of stopping, like the relief you get when you stop to hit your head on the wall, There’s no sacrifice. If I just stopped hitting myself on my head on the wall, I don’t lose anything. So you see this way, And it’s not until you get that point where you can completely break free. So eventually, I would just do this every time I had a nurge, all right? So I would just sit down write out exactly what what the urge was telling me, write out the lies of the parasite and how it was trying to use that addicted programming of my mind to make me relapse again and again and again, and I would answer it with the truth truth. OK? Eventually, I made this system where I could just do it from everywhere. I could do it from my computer, I could do it from my phone, because the urges would hit at random time around random places And I just made this systematic approach for me to follow time and time again, like repetitions, to teach my brain, to shape my brain, to recognizeize the lies and recognize the truth. And through recognizing the truth, I followed that path, and that path led to a life where I wasn’t relapsing okay? And I’ve been doing it now for three years, and I’ve been three years clean, which means it is working. I gave this method this system a name, and I called it the Accountabilio system I started sharing it with other people eventually. A couple of months ago, I started this project for a full time. and I made like the website, I made the app, I started sharing it on Reddit, and I got like hundreds of DMs of people who were blown away by this whole idea. So I sat down and talked to most of them and I just started telling them what do this, think that, follow this procedure. And everyone who works that system, they have been clean since they started working it. So that’s where where I compare nofap to the Accountabilio method, because we both acknowledge that PMO is bad. But nofap kind of leaves you at that, that PMO is bad, you shouldn’t do it, instead, do these healthy things. What the Accountabilio method is saying is that it’s bad, PMO, you should stop it. And if you want to stop it, you need to acknowledge that there’s a part of you that does not want to stop it. And the solution to completely break free is to take this part and teach it that, hey this is not good. It’s not to force this part to just go away every time it pops up. No man is to listen to the part, see the lies that is telling you, and then answer it with the truth truth, so you can shape it, you can shape your brain to follow that truth, time and time again. And you need repetition OK? To repeat it, you need a systematic approach. If you want to get your driver’s license, what do you do, man? There’s this systematic approach you need to follow. You go to the school, you take the lessons, you take the exams, you start to drive with instructor, you drive a couple of times to get your repetitions in, and then you go out and you drive for real, and you get your license, and boom, it’s done. Same with getting a degree You go to the school, you follow their systematic approach, you go through topic by topic, you read the books, you go to the lectures, you do the exams, there’s the system. Same with going to the gym, man, like you make it a program, you want to grow your chest, there’s this systematic approach you need to follow So why is it any different for your brain when it comes to addiction recovery It isn’t, man. So instead of just using willpower, discipline, and healthy habits, which are good in and of themselves, that’s not what I’m saying. But you’re kind of leaving it to chance, because if your solution previously has been that, okay, I’m urging now, I’m going to go to a cold shower. And that cold shower will remove the urge in the moment, or that you go to the gym to distract yourself, or you’re just going to read, and you’re just going to suffer through the urge until it kind of weens off a little bit If you’re doing it this way way, it’s like you’re just forcing yourself not to engage. And by forcing yourself not to engage there’s this part of you that will want it even more. It’s like being on a diet and saying that, okay, I cannot eat this cake, but you acknowledge that you really want to. I want to, but I can’t, I can’t, because I’m on a diet but bro, what will happen is that you will eventually eat it, or you won’t eat it at the moment, but you will eat it after diet or a couple weeks later The point is, you still eat the cake But with Accountabilio method, you recognize that there’s nothing there’s not something you give up, and you customize each situation. Like each Urge has a customized response, because each urge is different, it will tell you different things, and you will answer it with different things OK? So that’s just the differences in my perspective between Nofap and Accountabilio. If you’re interested in starting Accountabilio I would advise you to download the Accountabilio app or go to Accountabilio.com Try it for a week, just try it for a week and see how effective it is .

0.041 I have a lot of respect
1.375 for the Nofap movement.
3.375 It started off as a forum to help men break free
6.541 from their PMO addictions
8.541 It made them aware of the consequences and offered them a way out.
12.708 That’s initially how I started my Nofap journey.
16.708 There was this one particular period of my life where I was just feeling low
21.875 and everything on the outside was looking good
25.375 You know, I was studying, I had jobs lined up, I had relationships,
28.875 I was socializing, I was exercising, and everything seemed
32.374 to be going good on the outside, but inside, there was this emptiness.
37.708 Anytime I felt some sort of discomfort, I
40.875 would go and engage in the behavior.
43.708 And upon finishing, I just noticed that I was feeling even more worse.
48.375 So I had the genius idea of Googling is P bad for you
53.208 And I was met with the Nofap forum
55.833 I read everything, and it all made sense to me.
59.333 Over the years of consuming this, I had created
62.5 a dependency, an addiction, and this addiction,
66.5 this behavior, had a lot of consequences.
69.666 It was ruining my brain, this superstimulating activity
74.166 it was ruining my brain slowly and steadily and
77.666 making me feel less sensitive sensitized towards life.
81.0 So normal things just didn’t make me
84.0 feel anything, hence explaining the empty feeling.
87.333 So I decided then and there that I would stop.
90.666 And what Nofap recommends you to do is
93.666 to abstain for a certain period of time.
97.0 The symbolic number is 90, as you’ve probably read and heard before.
101.833 So I would have to go 90 days where I’m abstaining from this behavior
106.833 and I would need to install productive behaviors instead.
111.0 So every time I’m urging, I would meditate,
114.5 journal, go exercise, cold shower, and just feel
118.166 my day with productive habits as to enforce a healthy lifestyle.
123.333 And I’m not saying anything against this.
125.333 This in and of itself is good, you should be doing these things.
129.666 But unfortunately, in my experience and
133.0 in the experience of many others, it’s not the permanent solution.
137.666 Because eventually, you try to upgrade your life, right
142.5 And through that upgrade, you manage
145.833 to go one day, 10 days, 100 days without,
150.0 but most of the time you still relapse in the end.
154.5 and that’s where I think Nofap leaves you
157.5 empty handed, because it’s not really focusing on the real issue.
162.666 The real issue is that PMO
166.5 addiction is neuroplasticity, okay?
170.333 It’s a a programming of the mind
172.833 that true repeated behavior has
175.833 created itself to effectively find PMO
179.5 again in different situations.
181.833 It wants to to find PMO because your brain sees
185.0 it as a reward, as something that is giving you something, and that’s why it’s highly valuable
191.0 Your brain will not forget this value, all of
194.0 PMO, hence, you will always crave it, and when
198.166 you crave it and try to abstain from it,
201.833 then your brain sees it as a sacrifice, like your giving something up
206.833 and that you’re punishing yourself by not engaging.
210.166 And it is this that is always leading
213.666 you back to a relapse, because as long as there’s this
216.833 Paradigm in your brain that see PMO as
220.0 something valuable, then you will always suffer upon giving up
224.333 And sure, you might have felt periods of
227.333 just feeling great and good because you’re not engaging,
231.833 but you still go back.
233.833 So this is true, this statement that I just made.
237.666 And it was true for me because I went quite a long
240.666 times without, and I would always find my way back.
244.333 So I would just go in this loop of
247.5 saying that it’s my fault, it’s because I didn’t meditate hard enough, I didn’t exercise hard hard enough.
252.666 No man, it’s because I had sugar, so I need to stop eating sugar,
255.833 and I just need to go and do more productive stuff
258.833 because when I do that, then I won’t relapse again.
261.499 Lo and behold, I still relapse, and
264.666 the cycle would just continue for years, man.
267.0 I would try new things, it would work a little, and then I would relapse.
270.333 And I would beat myself up, get back up, try again, and again,
273.666 and again, and again, and and although this is
276.333 or can be considered, progress, because I
279.5 went from doing it multiple times a day to every couple of weeks
282.666 or months, it still wasn’t enough for me.
285.833 It wasn’t until I noticed that
289.833 when my brain is urging, it
292.833 is almost like there’s this voice speaking to me.
297.5 There’s this part of my brain that is rationalizing
301.333 just another relapse, and it
304.833 would use whatever it can get his hands on to make that happen
308.333 So it would say that
309.833 yeah, man, you know, you didn’t sleep good today,
313.0 and it was stressful at school or work, and you just need to kick back and relax.
317.166 And, you know, you saw that picture on Instagram.
319.833 You’re not going to get it out of your head so, bro, just get it over with, man.
323.5 Just do it, and from tomorrow on, we will delete
326.5 Instagram and, yeah, that will be the problem
329.666 That will be the solution to our problems, all right
332.0 So it wasn’t until I noticed that there’s
335.333 this part of me that is addicted.
338.333 And this part is communicating with
341.333 me to make me relapse.
343.5 So it is telling me lies
346.0 to get what it wants.
348.0 And once you realize
350.5 this, I mean, obviously, it’s just neuroplasticity.
353.5 It is this addicted programming of the mind.
356.333 It is this addictive part, or addicted part
359.375 But once you realized this, like I did, I
362.5 decided to give it a persona.
365.0 I would call it the Parasite, because I saw this picture from
368.333 a video game that was just a really creepy picture,
372.0 but it just felt like this is what it was.
374.666 There’s this parasite in me that
377.666 is forcing me almost or rationalizing me
381.666 trying to have me to rationalize for me
384.833 to engage in the behavior time and time again.
388.5 So I decided to sit down
391.833 and write out word by word exactly what this parasite was telling me.
397.666 And the reason I did that was just to analyze
401.833 it, in a sense, just to see what was going on inside my mind.
405.5 because obviously there was something going on.
408.333 I knew I wanted to stop, and every time
411.333 I relapse, I would tell myself, this is it, never again, I’m
416.375 never going back, but I would go back.
419.5 So I was just curious, what is going on here.
422.166 And I would grab my journal, and
425.166 I would just write out, word by word, what the parasite is telling me.
430.333 And upon doing it, I had a full page almost of just plain lies.
435.833 It would say something like, you
439.0 need to do it because you’re risking prostate cancer,
442.666 you need to do it because you’re stressed and you just need to relieve yourself.
446.333 It’s OK, everyone else is doing it.
448.333 Bro, you saw this picture on Instagram.
450.5 You need to get it out of your head.
452.5 It’s because you’re not disciplined enough, so just do it now and then tomorrow we will level up our discipline.
456.833 We will start this whole new program of this and that and blah, blah, blah.
460.666 And once I had written it down,
464.0 I could just read how stupid it was.
467.333 And it was stupid because it’s all lies.
470.166 It’s all lies, and it was as if I
473.0 was talking to someone that I know is lying to my face
477.5 and you almost get the satisfaction of knowing that
480.5 they’re lying, but they don’t know that you know, right?
483.666 And I decided to
486.666 answer it, and I answered it with the truth.
490.166 And the truth was that, OK, I am tired, I didn’t sleep the best
495.0 but will PMO solve that?
498.0 It will just numb out this feeling
501.0 that I have for a couple of minutes, and then I will be left feeling even worse.
506.166 I would feel overwhelmed, I would feel
509.333 more stressed, because now I feel incapable of
512.499 fixing the things that are the issues,
515.833 which will leave the more stress.
517.833 So it’s not really a solution, then, is it for for me to PMO,
521.333 and I’m not really aroused.
523.833 I’m just looking it’s just my brain that is looking for a hit
528.0 It’s not my body that needs this, because, to be honest man, your body doesn’t need it that much.
533.166 Your body doesn’t need it multiple times a day or every couple of weeks.
537.333 And if it did, you would go and chase the natural thing,
540.666 not pixels on a screen, and even see saying that out
544.0 loud just makes you realize how stupid it is
547.333 OK?
548.208 So I would just answer it with the truth.
550.666 And when saying the truth out loud,
553.666 it’s like you’re training your brain to
557.833 recognize that this pattern is not the right one, it’s not good, it’s not doing you anything
563.666 And once you realize that it’s not doing you anything,
567.166 then you teach yourself to see it as less valuable, and
570.5 since it’s less valuable, you’re not missing something, all right?
575.0 You’re not giving anything up.
577.0 There’s no sacrifice.
578.5 There’s no sacrifice in me
580.666 Like, if I were to start hitting my head on the wall and
584.166 look forward to the relief of stopping, like the
588.0 relief you get when you stop to hit your head on the wall,
591.166 There’s no sacrifice.
593.333 If I just stopped hitting myself on my head on the wall, I don’t lose anything.
598.333 So you see this way,
601.208 And it’s not until you get that point where you can completely break free.
605.833 So eventually, I would just do this every time I had a nurge, all right?
610.0 So I would just sit down write out exactly what what
613.0 the urge was telling me, write out the lies of the parasite
617.0 and how it was trying to use that addicted programming of
620.166 my mind to make me relapse again and again and again, and I would answer it with the truth truth.
625.166 OK?
626.291 Eventually, I made this system
629.166 where I could just do it from everywhere.
631.333 I could do it from my computer, I could do it from my phone, because the
634.333 urges would hit at random time around random places
637.0 And I just made this systematic approach for me to follow
640.166 time and time again, like repetitions, to teach
644.0 my brain, to shape my brain, to recognizeize
647.666 the lies and recognize the truth.
650.166 And through recognizing the truth, I followed that
653.166 path, and that path led to a life where I wasn’t relapsing
659.0 okay?
659.666 And I’ve been doing it now for three years, and I’ve been three years
662.833 clean, which means it is working.
665.666 I gave this method this system
668.666 a name, and I called it the Accountabilio system
672.166 I started sharing it with other people eventually.
675.0 A couple of months ago, I started this project for a full time.
678.666 and I made like the website, I made the app, I started sharing it
682.333 on Reddit, and I got like hundreds of DMs of people who
685.5 were blown away by this whole idea.
687.833 So I sat down and talked to most of them
690.5 and I just started telling them what do this, think that, follow this procedure.
695.666 And everyone who works that system,
699.0 they have been clean since they started working it.
704.166 So that’s where where I compare nofap to
707.333 the Accountabilio method, because we both acknowledge that PMO is bad.
712.0 But nofap kind of leaves you at that, that PMO
715.5 is bad, you shouldn’t do it, instead, do these healthy things.
719.333 What the Accountabilio method is saying is that
722.166 it’s bad, PMO, you should stop it.
725.666 And if you want to stop it, you need to acknowledge that there’s
728.833 a part of you that does not want to stop it.
731.666 And the solution to completely break free is to
734.666 take this part and teach it that, hey
738.0 this is not good.
740.0 It’s not to force this part to
742.5 just go away every time it pops up.
745.166 No man is to listen to the part, see the
748.333 lies that is telling you, and then answer it with the truth truth,
751.666 so you can shape it, you can shape your brain to follow
754.833 that truth, time and time again.
757.0 And you need repetition
759.0 OK?
759.5 To repeat it, you need a systematic approach.
762.5 If you want to get your driver’s license, what do you do, man?
766.833 There’s this systematic approach you need to follow.
769.5 You go to the school, you take the lessons, you take the exams,
773.0 you start to drive with instructor, you drive a
776.166 couple of times to get your repetitions in, and then you go
779.166 out and you drive for real, and you get your license, and boom, it’s done.
782.833 Same with getting a degree
784.833 You go to the school, you follow their systematic approach,
788.166 you go through topic by topic, you read the books, you go to
791.333 the lectures, you do the exams, there’s the system.
794.666 Same with going to the gym, man, like you make it a program,
798.166 you want to grow your chest, there’s this systematic approach you need to follow
802.666 So why is it any different for your brain when it comes to addiction recovery
808.25 It isn’t, man.
810.25 So instead of just using
812.75 willpower, discipline, and healthy habits, which are good in and of themselves, that’s not what I’m saying.
819.083 But you’re kind of leaving it to chance,
822.583 because if your solution previously has been that, okay, I’m
826.083 urging now, I’m going to go to a cold shower.
828.916 And that cold shower will remove the urge in the moment,
832.083 or that you go to the gym to distract yourself, or you’re just going to read,
835.75 and you’re just going to suffer through the urge until it kind of weens off a little bit
840.25 If you’re doing it this way way, it’s like you’re
844.416 just forcing yourself not to engage.
847.416 And by forcing yourself not to engage
850.083 there’s this part of you that will want it even more.
852.916 It’s like being on a diet and saying that,
855.916 okay, I cannot eat this cake, but you acknowledge that you really want to.
859.083 I want to, but I can’t, I can’t, because I’m on a diet but bro,
863.083 what will happen is that you will eventually eat it, or you
866.25 won’t eat it at the moment, but you will eat it after diet or a couple weeks later
870.916 The point is, you still eat the cake
873.25 But with Accountabilio method, you recognize that
876.25 there’s nothing there’s not something you give up, and
879.916 you customize each situation.
882.416 Like each Urge has a customized response, because each
885.583 urge is different, it will tell you different things, and you will answer it with different things
891.0 OK?
892.0 So that’s just the differences in my perspective between
894.833 Nofap and Accountabilio.
897.333 If you’re interested in starting Accountabilio
899.75 I would advise you to download the Accountabilio app or go to Accountabilio.com
904.833 Try it for a week, just try it for a week and see how effective it is
