Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: on this channel I get two requests from you guys and as the most woke empty house billionaire business advice guy with the great body you guys know this ok I’m not gonna show you my six-pack because it could blind you but I always get the question Alex as this super performing super being how do you stay so focused what is your life like well today what I’m going to be doing on the channel is I’m gonna be sharing with you the results of hardmode nightmare mode actually that we talked about in this video a few days ago now look the things I’m gonna present to you in this video they take godlike levels of discipline and no order the relate to you plebeians you simps a little bit more i’ve actually lowered the camera quality setup while improving my audio setup it’s kind of like points and an RPG characters one goes up the other must go down ok you can’t invest points all over the place so you can see I’m coming from this fantastic hotel setup to really get things going but I want to talk about this seriously with you because I got some free time right now and there’s a ton of interest in the last video and frankly what’s the point of talking about something if you’re not going to talk about the results that got so let’s just get into it so this videos gonna be broken up in three parts how nightmare mode helped my happiness levels my focus levels my focus levels and my health levels on top of that let’s discuss actually what it is so of course what no-fat nightmare mode involves it involves not mounting the mantacorn for the new people here who don’t know what mounting the manticore means it means not spanking the gorilla not partaking in that that gross thing that we all know what it means ok I’m not gonna name it out loud because we are a PG channel and frankly I don’t like talking about anything involving that to you guys but it is part of this it is part of this but what nightmare mode also involves is not just not mounting the manticore but it means removing everything from your life that triggers excess amount of dopamine or really not letting anything into your life that triggers dopamine without giving you a severe reward so a nightmare mode also involves is cutting out everything no TV no sugary foods no social media whatsoever except for work purposes of course no obviously bad stuff like alcohol or eating cake or smoking that’s something I didn’t really have a problem with before no video games basically no nothing what it means is not mounting decore not using social media and the only thing you’re allowed to do for fun and your off time besides working is studying stuff that helps you work which is CEO interviews are reading you can also go on walks and stuff like that but basically you cannot do anything except study and work and sleep if you’re not doing those things you’re staring at a wall and of course you can do health related things like working out or doing some form of a detox but the overall definition is if it triggers dopamine in you but doesn’t add positively to your life it doesn’t get included and so it believes a very few limited things and so that’s overall the gist of it so how did it work out so I’ve done it for about seven days now and I’ve been actually doing hard moaning I’ve been doing pretty much this type of lifestyle for a while now so I don’t think like it’s going to be compared to your first seven days yours might be a lot more extreme it might be a lot more tougher because I normally don’t really watch TV I normally don’t eat any bad foods whatsoever and I already don’t play video games are too removed a lot of dopamine triggering things for my life already but the impact I got from this was already pretty profound so first off when it comes to life happiness I think the main reason why people don’t undertake something like this is they think they’re going to be losing something and I get it you think okay that there’s these feelings that I like to chase there’s these things that I think are really important to me I think video games are really important to me I think catching my favorite TV shows important to me I think eating good food is important to me it’s all kind of an illusion I just I just want to point that out tune it’s become even more clear to me from this because when you give up everything particularly the things that are really hard you start to realize that your happiness levels aren’t going to go down because these things aren’t a part of your happiness levels they’re just connected to your dopamine you’re doping triggers are constantly telling you to go in this direction go in this direction if you don’t understand how dopamine and everything works check out either my dopamine detox video or just watch the last video I explain in a lot of detail but everything’s really tied together and you think these things are a big aspect of your life you think playing video games you think being on social media think these are big parts of your life and you’re gonna be losing something and the truth is you’re simply not losing anything when you lose these things these are just things that have been wired mostly through technology and design to with your head or or through unnatural levels of dopamine intoxication so for example when you eat a cake cakes didn’t exist like three thousand years ago I think I think that’s correct I don’t know maybe they had cakes before Christ I don’t know but long story short when humans were first created we’re not designed to eat cakes we weren’t designed to get these many levels of dopamine hits and our body and so it’s pretty silly to think that the human body is gonna start becoming depressed when it loses things that doesn’t naturally need now of course when you start doing something like this the urges and everything are going to cause pain so basically your your dopamine directors that have been used to operating this one way your code is built in a certain way he’s gonna tell you do this thing it’s important to you it’s important to you do it you’re having this urge to play video games you have this urge to eat bad food um this urge to do God knows what okay maybe mount the manticore because that’s how your brain is designed to work the dopamine is like a 1 into zero and your brain is going to constantly gravitate towards the ones it’s gonna constantly tell you to go in this direction go in this direction because the dopamine triggers when it thinks it’s related to survival and this is gonna be the worst explanation ever ok there’s about a thousand other channels we can get a better explanation but but the dopamine triggers and your heading and say this is important to survival and you’ve been doing it a lot and so these are the habits you need to incorporate in your daily life every single day the sense of value and worth you get from video games the obviously value you get from looking at Ludi pictures online the type of value that your brain tells that itself it’s receiving when you eat a cake or something sugary or just any of the crap in general these are all signals to your brain that you’re doing something good and so it’s gonna tell you to keep doing these good things even though it’s wrong dopamine is not a predictor of what’s good for you it’s your brain interpreting signals and in saying is this gonna help me survive is this important to my survival or not and those signals are not based in reality not based on logic it’s not based on the truth of things it’s just based on very inferior mechanisms of the brain that worked before all this stuff existed cavemen times whatever none of this stuff existed so the dopamine triggers in the direction it pushed you in big you really couldn’t go wrong there there wasn’t anything for you to get addicted to there wasn’t any dopamine traps for you to fall into it that’s not the case today literally if you’re on your computer right now there’s like 16 different dopamine traps firing over your screen right now probably and so understanding that a lot of the and why people don’t do this they can’t cut bad habits and they’re afraid to go and undertake something like this so they think their happiness levels are going to decrease of course that’s true when you when you first do this you’re going to be very bored you’re you’re going to feel like you’re missing out on life you’re missing out on something and the truth is you’re not missing out on anything no one’s life got worse because they stopped checking Kim Kardashian’s Instagram and stop playing Final Fantasy 7 no one’s life ever got significantly worse doing quitting those things but what is going to happen is everything is relevant it’s really common knowledge that regardless of how rich you are past about seventy thousand dollars a year your happiness levels don’t decrease at all so persons making about 70 hundred thousand dollars a year is about as happy as a person it’s a billionaire this is just accepted because your happiness bar isn’t I have an unlimited fill meter it’s just gonna get to the top and that’s it you can’t go any further you also can’t go any further down and so everything’s very relative to itself so if a billionaire goes to being a person that’s making $100,000 a year he’s going to be devastated well the person who’s making $100,000 a year will be just fine if they go from like a hundred thousand ninety thousand or just stay around that range what I’m trying to say is that everything is relative to what you’re currently experiencing what you’re doing in your life so as you removed all the dopamine triggers first it’s gonna be like oh no this is horrible cuz you’re going from being a billionaire to being a hundred thousand heir okay but then that still seems like you’re losing something just follow along with the metaphor I promise we’ll make sense but the thing is as you re sensitize your brain to dopamine what’s going to happen is you’re gonna start enjoying things that you weren’t enjoying before like reading or working or studying or working on a project or learning in the code and all the things that you can’t find willpower to do you’re going to start and join them because in relevance to your baseline of extremely low dopamine these are gonna be very exciting to you and so to wrap it all up when it comes to happiness my happiness levels have gone much higher because I’m suddenly enjoying simple things that also are good for me it’s very very weird like I was on a plane the other day and I was looking around out the window and looking at other people I found it interesting no I’m not I’m not walking around like some depressed nihilists all the time and walking around like a rain cloud over myself but in the past when I’ve been doing a lot of things video games drinking etc etc things really aren’t that interesting to me I don’t find people interesting I don’t find normal everyday life interesting I don’t find it magical at all it’s it’s a big shade of gray but once I start doing this and draw up pretty much everything overall I’m a lot happier because work is very it’s it’s very engaging life overall is very engaging interacting with people is very engaging I’m Sully motivated to do a lot of things I wasn’t motivated to do before because the smaller levels of dopamine they trigger is all relevant because my dopamine levels are so low and I’m not constantly being overloaded by social media and all these other things these little things make me happy and then four I’m able to not only focus on things that are good for me and the happiness bar caps out at a certain level of happiness and so what’s happened to me at least is that bar gets filled by little hits if you’re sensitive to those little hits and so because of that I’m able to be happy doing things that are also beneficial for me and the coolest thing about this is happiness is so much higher because I don’t have cravings and I don’t have constants I’m not constantly doing things that make me feel like crap afterwards mentally beating myself up and health-wise so for example people go through this routine will they’ll go drink on the weekend so they’ll play a lot of video games so this is binge on social media oh they’ll do this and you just end up first off it takes way too much to fill up that happiness bar because your dopamine triggers become so desensitized that you have to do crazy things to feel something and so you’re just depressed in general and then also you constantly to do things that are unnatural in order to feel happy and then because that you feel bad after it’s just this vicious cycle that goes in a negative direction so the first thing I want to point out I know this was a long rant is your happiness levels are not gonna decline you’re not gonna be missing out on anything okay I’m trying not to cuss in the channel nor PG channel and that was probably the biggest question people gonna ask you think you’re going to be sad doing this you’re not you’re gonna find enjoyment in things that also bring fulfillment to your life and so it’s a double whammy and then you’re not doing dumb stuff anymore that makes you feel worse in the long run so everything it goes in the opposite direction instead of going in a vicious cycle one way it goes in a vicious cycle in a positive direction and it builds on itself and you not only begin to be more focused which is the next thing I want to talk about you start to love focus you start to be amused by it it’s funny almost so focus wise this ties in the happiness cuz we’re what makes you happy is where you’re going to be able to focus so when it comes to work when it comes to making YouTube content now even in my free time I only do YouTube in my free time I don’t mix it in with my work hours this is like turds and giggles time when it comes to focus I’m getting so much work done that I almost run out of work if that makes sense because work makes me happy and so I just devour it and my list of stuff that I need to get done every single day just gets destroyed very quickly because I’m able to focus down on it so I’m just I’m almost I would used to have to work like 12 hours a day I can get that done in almost like eight to ten hours and then it leaves a ton of time to watch like CEO interviews and whatnot but the cool thing about it is because I’m happy doing these things I’m able to focus on my goals a lot better and because they make me happy doing these things I’m motivated to do them and the key to staying focused on something is first off being excited about if you’re not excited about something it’s not making you happy you’re not going to be able to focus on there’s no way around this you’re just draining your willpower mean at that point and how willpower works in your head when you’re doing something you don’t want to do you can only do that for so long I’m not gonna explain this very well but there is a chemical in your head that basically controls your willpower and it gets drained very quickly if you’re using it you don’t have a lot of it it’s a very small gas tank but if you’re excited about what you’re doing you’re not draining that chemical you’re triggering tons of dopamine you’re experiencing a lot of positive emotions that’s not being drained cuz you want to do it so when I get up it’s a lot easier for me to focus on working it’s a lot easier for me to be very excited about it because I’m excited about I want to do more work and I want to do extra things I used to not enjoy doing like for example doing CEO interviews the one I did with Nathan last week and I plan to do a lot more I’m motivated to do that and actually go network with people because I find people interesting again okay do a certain extent and I find going out there and talking and learning from people a lot more interesting again and when I get done working I find going and watching CEO interviews and watching all the beneficial things that you can find on YouTube which are mostly again just going to be CEOs talking about their experiences scaling companies that’s at least what I watch or reading it’s going to become enjoyable to you again because it’s going to trigger those levels of dopamine it’s the least going to trigger more dopamine and staring at a wall and since your options are stare at a wall work or do beneficial educational stuff it’s going to trigger that dopamine and get you those happiness cell which then because you’re making progress in your career you’re learning more you’re becoming smarter you’re gonna feel like you have higher value thus you’re going to feel better long term so it all combines onto itself so focus wise everything’s been through the roof and the thing I want to stress from this is you don’t have cravings as you stop looking to other things to make you happy and needing them what is then going to happen is the focus skyrockets again because you’re not thinking about these things they don’t take up your mental brainpower I’m not sitting around thinking about next time I’m gonna get drunk or the next time I’m gonna play video games next time I’m gonna do this because you no longer have those things in your head they’re no longer options if you’re just like I’m never going to do these things again at least during this time period of my life you don’t have those temptations anymore and because that you just you Sully don’t have to play that argument game with your brain because what happens when you’re working oh man I really want to go play World of Warcraft oh I really want to go eat right now oh I really want to go out and drink and and do whatever and as you can see my body naturally defaults to debauchery okay I’m a very debaucherous guy so doesn’t mean just being like Oh Momo kun this is what you should do I love to go get messed up it’s great time okay so to counter those arguments in your head that constantly trigger on Friday night so let’s go get some ice cream let’s go watch six hours of TV that takes a lot of energy takes a lot of fighting with your brain that destroys focus so that’s why I love this because you start to fall in love with being disciplined because you you no longer have those urges so again when I was on this plane it was it was just so weird to me that I could sit there without my phone I didn’t need to focus on anything I just look at the window and be amused like a child and also for one of the first times in my life I wasn’t sitting around thinking about all the negative things I could do was actually think about how I can avoid these things more because it was becoming more like a game because because I’m noticing that my happiness levels are going up and up and up as I become more and more disciplined that’s that’s the funny thing about this you think doing this is going to make you depressed but it’s the opposite doing this makes you happier because everything that you’re getting satisfaction from also improves your life now I know I’m ranting a little bit about this I just really want to explain this well to you and so you fall in love with discipline you stop having to have those arguments in your head so you’re just able to focus because the only thing in your life is the important things to you which is right now for me work that’s it that’s it and so I don’t I’m not having any arguments that take me off in other directions anymore of my head and so focus is through the roof and the one last thing I want to leave it at is if you remove one or two things or you keep two or three bad habits it makes everything else worse I’ve noticed that by just completely giving up all the bad habits every habit you give up makes the next one easier to give up and makes it easier and easier when you’ve just gotten rid of everything that’s when it really starts to click and so I’m encouraging right now if you’re thinking about maybe like doing a nightmare mode or something like that you can’t do it halfway you can’t just go and say well I’m gonna still play video game you can’t you can’t have these extreme dopamine detox it’s like alright I’m gonna give up drinking I’m gonna give up cigarettes I’m gonna give a bad food but I’m gonna kay Schilling you heroin because then your body’s just gonna completely default to heroin you can’t give yourself an out here’s what I’m saying you have you have to isolate everything so finally health-wise how is it helped me overall so obviously people say there’s all sorts of benefits with not mounting the manticore and all these things honestly my skin’s been a lot better my focus has been a lot better I don’t think that’s related to health honestly it’s just it’s just a lot easier to maintain I really really healthy diet which again leads to focus it’s also the thing about this is when you’re more disciplined you’re able to do all the health things that you were constantly putting off before so meditating sticking to a really good skin care regimen sticking the juicing sticking to absolutely keeping crap out of your body that becomes a lot easier and so I don’t I think overall when you’re not mounting the manticore there’s all sorts of stuff that comes with saving nutrients and whatnot my skin looks a lot better overall I feel a lot thinner a lot more leaner a lot less inflammation I don’t know if that’s all connected but I know what is connected is through the the higher sense of discipline what is connected is achieving or more so being able to hit that list of health things you want to do every day it’s a lot easier for me to work out it’s a lot easy for me to meditate it’s a lot easier for me to stick to juicing skincare all the things I’ve mentioned so far and so that overall definitely definitely improved health and I and I think overall when you think about health as far as mental clarity or at least sense of well-being that is so much higher because when when you’re going through all these unnatural dopamine toxification which is a poor way to describe just watching television and interacting with all the things that we have in our day-to-day life to dis just it’s just too much you have a lot of lows because you’re constantly going from billionaire level to poor level when it comes to dopamine your constant going from way too high and super desensitized to nothingness and this is why you can’t see people sit down without looking at their phone you can just you can literally see their brains they can’t they can’t stand existing without something to distract them and that’s just the dopamine it’s not because they’re depressed and they hate themselves or life is terrible it’s because they cannot cope with existing because their dopamine levels are so desensitized it’s just existing is extremely painful when your body is so desensitized the dopamine it needs such huge hits just to feel okay and I think that leads to the depression I think that leads to feeling isolated and I think that leads to a real negative outlook because if you’re not being distracted you’re in a state of pain and if you’re in a state of pain you’re not gonna be a happy overall guy and so I think health-wise that’s a huge benefit as well so that’s just everything I just I just wanted to get this all out there one to shoot this video for you guys I don’t think there’s any more to add if you have questions below let me know at the end of this video there’s a link to a dopamine detox video there also be a link to the first video on this which I think you should watch because it really explains the concept of how everything interacts together and so that’s it be sure to LIKE subscribe hit that notification button because what I do is I run ads to people that fit right in that demographic okay I can actually target down than add words and I used to make a lot of beginners courses that taught people how to build their first businesses and whatnot I used to charge thousands of dollars for those if you see this ad you will just get those courses for free I only spend a couple bucks a day on that ad but if you want to see that you have to like subscribe hit a notification bell and you’ll fall into that slot and my Google ads that will target you so that’s it all the other videos that relate to this or after this video and that’s it that’s it I’m never I’m never filming like this again by the way this has been so weird [Music] .

0.06 involves it involves not mounting the

0.06 some form of a detox but the overall
0.06 definition is if it triggers dopamine in
0.06 you but doesn&;t add positively to your
0.06 life it doesn&;t get included and so it
0.06 believes a very few limited things and
0.06 so that&;s overall the gist of it
0.06 so how did it work out so I&;ve done it
0.06 for about seven days now and I&;ve been
0.06 actually doing hard moaning I&;ve been
0.06 doing pretty much this type of lifestyle
0.06 for a while now so I don&;t think like
0.06 it&;s going to be compared to your first
0.06 seven days yours might be a lot more
0.06 extreme it might be a lot more tougher
0.06 because I normally don&;t really watch TV
0.06 I normally don&;t eat any bad foods
0.06 whatsoever and I already don&;t play
0.06 video games are too removed a lot of
0.06 dopamine triggering things for my life
0.06 already but the impact I got from this
0.06 was already pretty profound so first off
0.06 when it comes to life happiness I think
0.06 the main reason why people don&;t
0.06 undertake something like this is they
0.06 think they&;re going to be losing
0.06 something and I get it you think okay
0.06 that there&;s these feelings that I like
0.06 to chase there&;s these things that I
0.06 think are really important to me I think
0.06 video games are really important to me I
0.06 think catching my favorite TV shows
0.06 important to me I think eating good food
0.06 is important to me it&;s all kind of an
0.06 illusion I just I just want to point
0.06 that out tune it&;s become even more
0.06 clear to me from this because when you
0.06 give up everything particularly the
0.06 things that are really hard you start to
0.06 realize that your happiness levels
0.06 aren&;t going to go down because these
0.06 things aren&;t a part of your happiness
0.06 levels they&;re just connected to your
0.06 dopamine you&;re doping triggers are
0.06 constantly telling you to go in this
0.06 direction go in this direction if you
0.06 don&;t understand how dopamine and
0.06 everything works check out either my
0.06 dopamine detox video or just watch the
0.06 last video I explain in a lot of detail
0.06 but everything&;s really tied together
0.06 and you think these things are a big
0.06 aspect of your life you think playing
0.06 video games you think being on social
0.06 media think these are big parts of your
0.06 life and you&;re gonna be losing
0.06 something and the truth is you&;re simply
0.06 not losing anything when you lose these
0.06 things these are just things that have
0.06 been wired mostly through technology and
0.06 design to
0.06 with your head or or through unnatural
0.06 levels of dopamine intoxication so for
0.06 example when you eat a cake cakes didn&;t
0.06 exist like three thousand years ago I
0.06 think I think that&;s correct I don&;t
0.06 know maybe they had cakes before Christ
0.06 I don&;t know but long story short when
0.06 humans were first created we&;re not
0.06 designed to eat cakes we weren&;t
0.06 designed to get these many levels of
0.06 dopamine hits and our body and so it&;s
0.06 pretty silly to think that the human
0.06 body is gonna start becoming depressed
0.06 when it loses things that doesn&;t
0.06 naturally need now of course when you
0.06 start doing something like this the
0.06 urges and everything are going to cause
0.06 pain so basically your your dopamine
0.06 directors that have been used to
0.06 operating this one way your code is
0.06 built in a certain way he&;s gonna tell
0.06 you do this thing it&;s important to you
0.06 it&;s important to you do it you&;re
0.06 having this urge to play video games you
0.06 have this urge to eat bad food um this
0.06 urge to do God knows what okay maybe
0.06 mount the manticore because that&;s how
0.06 your brain is designed to work the
0.06 dopamine is like a 1 into zero and your
0.06 brain is going to constantly gravitate
0.06 towards the ones it&;s gonna constantly
0.06 tell you to go in this direction go in
0.06 this direction because the dopamine
0.06 triggers when it thinks it&;s related to
0.06 survival and this is gonna be the worst
0.06 explanation ever ok there&;s about a
0.06 thousand other channels we can get a
0.06 better explanation but but the dopamine
0.06 triggers and your heading and say this
0.06 is important to survival and you&;ve been
0.06 doing it a lot and so these are the
0.06 habits you need to incorporate in your
0.06 daily life every single day the sense of
0.06 value and worth you get from video games
0.06 the obviously value you get from looking
0.06 at
0.06 Ludi pictures online the type of value
0.06 that your brain tells that itself it&;s
0.06 receiving when you eat a cake or
0.06 something sugary or just any of the crap
0.06 in general these are all signals to your
0.06 brain that you&;re doing something good
0.06 and so it&;s gonna tell you to keep doing
0.06 these good things even though it&;s wrong
0.06 dopamine is not a predictor of what&;s
0.06 good for you it&;s your brain
0.06 interpreting signals and in saying is
0.06 this gonna help me survive is this
0.06 important to my survival or not and
0.06 those signals are not based in reality
0.06 not based on logic it&;s not based on the
0.06 truth of things it&;s just based on very
0.06 inferior mechanisms of the brain that
0.06 worked before all this stuff existed
0.06 cavemen times whatever none of this
0.06 stuff existed so the dopamine triggers
0.06 in the direction it pushed you in big
0.06 you really couldn&;t go wrong there
0.06 there wasn&;t anything for you to get
0.06 addicted to there wasn&;t any dopamine
0.06 traps for you to fall into it that&;s not
0.06 the case today literally if you&;re on
0.06 your computer right now there&;s like 16
0.06 different dopamine traps firing over
0.06 your screen right now probably and so
0.06 understanding that a lot of the
0.06 and why people don&;t do this they can&;t
0.06 cut bad habits and they&;re afraid to go
0.06 and undertake something like this so
0.06 they think their happiness levels are
0.06 going to decrease of course that&;s true
0.06 when you when you first do this you&;re
0.06 going to be very bored you&;re you&;re
0.06 going to feel like you&;re missing out on
0.06 life you&;re missing out on something and
0.06 the truth is you&;re not missing out on
0.06 anything no one&;s life got worse because
0.06 they stopped checking Kim Kardashian&;s
0.06 Instagram and stop playing Final Fantasy
0.06 7 no one&;s life ever got significantly
0.06 worse doing quitting those things but
0.06 what is going to happen is everything is
0.06 relevant it&;s really common knowledge
0.06 that regardless of how rich you are past
0.06 about seventy thousand dollars a year
0.06 your happiness levels don&;t decrease at
0.06 all so persons making about 70 hundred
0.06 thousand dollars a year is about as
0.06 happy as a person it&;s a billionaire
0.06 this is just accepted because your
0.06 happiness bar isn&;t I have an unlimited
0.06 fill meter it&;s just gonna get to the
0.06 top and that&;s it you can&;t go any
0.06 further
0.06 you also can&;t go any further down and
0.06 so everything&;s very relative to itself
0.06 so if a billionaire goes to being a
0.06 person that&;s making $100,000 a year
0.06 he&;s going to be devastated well the
0.06 person who&;s making $100,000 a year will
0.06 be just fine if they go from like a
0.06 hundred thousand ninety thousand or just
0.06 stay around that range what I&;m trying
0.06 to say is that everything is relative to
0.06 what you&;re currently experiencing what
0.06 you&;re doing in your life so as you
0.06 removed all the dopamine triggers first
0.06 it&;s gonna be like oh no this is
0.06 horrible cuz you&;re going from being a
0.06 billionaire to being a hundred thousand
0.06 heir okay but then that still seems like
0.06 you&;re losing something just follow
0.06 along with the metaphor I promise we&;ll
0.06 make sense but the thing is as you re
0.06 sensitize your brain to dopamine what&;s
0.06 going to happen is you&;re gonna start
0.06 enjoying things that you weren&;t
0.06 enjoying before like reading or working
0.06 or studying or working on a project or
0.06 learning in the code and all the things
0.06 that you can&;t find willpower to do
0.06 you&;re going to start and join them
0.06 because in relevance to your baseline of
0.06 extremely low dopamine these are gonna
0.06 be very exciting to you and so to wrap
0.06 it all up when it comes to happiness my
0.06 happiness levels have gone much higher
0.06 because I&;m suddenly enjoying simple
0.06 things that also are good for me it&;s
0.06 very very weird like I was on a plane
0.06 the other day
0.06 and I was looking around out the window
0.06 and looking at other people I found it
0.06 interesting no I&;m not I&;m not walking
0.06 around like some depressed nihilists all
0.06 the time and walking around like a rain
0.06 cloud over myself but in the past when
0.06 I&;ve been doing a lot of things video
0.06 games drinking etc etc
0.06 things really aren&;t that interesting to
0.06 me I don&;t find people interesting I
0.06 don&;t find normal everyday life
0.06 interesting I don&;t find it magical at
0.06 all it&;s it&;s a big shade of gray but
0.06 once I start doing this and draw up
0.06 pretty much everything overall I&;m a lot
0.06 happier because work is very it&;s it&;s
0.06 very engaging life overall is very
0.06 engaging interacting with people is very
0.06 engaging I&;m Sully motivated to do a lot
0.06 of things I wasn&;t motivated to do
0.06 before because the smaller levels of
0.06 dopamine they trigger is all relevant
0.06 because my dopamine levels are so low
0.06 and I&;m not constantly being overloaded
0.06 by social media and all these other
0.06 things these little things make me happy
0.06 and then four I&;m able to not only focus
0.06 on things that are good for me and the
0.06 happiness bar caps out at a certain
0.06 level of happiness and so what&;s
0.06 happened to me at least is that bar gets
0.06 filled by little hits if you&;re
0.06 sensitive to those little hits and so
0.06 because of that I&;m able to be happy
0.06 doing things that are also beneficial
0.06 for me and the coolest thing about this
0.06 is happiness is so much higher because I
0.06 don&;t have cravings and I don&;t have
0.06 constants I&;m not constantly doing
0.06 things that make me feel like crap
0.06 afterwards mentally beating myself up
0.06 and health-wise so for example people go
0.06 through this routine will they&;ll go
0.06 drink on the weekend so they&;ll play a
0.06 lot of video games so this is binge on
0.06 social media oh they&;ll do this and you
0.06 just end up first off it takes way too
0.06 much to fill up that happiness bar
0.06 because your dopamine triggers become so
0.06 desensitized that you have to do crazy
0.06 things to feel something and so you&;re
0.06 just depressed in general and then also
0.06 you constantly to do things that are
0.06 unnatural in order to feel happy and
0.06 then because that you feel bad after
0.06 it&;s just this vicious cycle that goes
0.06 in a negative direction so the first
0.06 thing I want to point out I know this
0.06 was a long rant is your happiness levels
0.06 are not gonna decline you&;re not gonna
0.06 be missing out on anything okay I&;m
0.06 trying not to cuss in the channel nor PG
0.06 channel and that was probably the
0.06 biggest question people gonna ask you
0.06 think you&;re going to be sad doing this
0.06 you&;re not you&;re gonna find enjoyment
0.06 in things that also bring fulfillment to
0.06 your life and so it&;s a double whammy
0.06 and then you&;re not doing dumb stuff
0.06 anymore
0.06 that makes you feel worse in the long
0.06 run so everything it goes in the
0.06 opposite direction instead of going in a
0.06 vicious cycle one way it goes in a
0.06 vicious cycle in a positive direction
0.06 and it builds on itself and you not only
0.06 begin to be more focused which is the
0.06 next thing I want to talk about you
0.06 start to love focus you start to be
0.06 amused by it it&;s funny almost
0.06 so focus wise this ties in the happiness
0.06 cuz we&;re what makes you happy is where
0.06 you&;re going to be able to focus so when
0.06 it comes to work when it comes to making
0.06 YouTube content now even in my free time
0.06 I only do YouTube in my free time I
0.06 don&;t mix it in with my work hours this
0.06 is like turds and giggles time when it
0.06 comes to focus I&;m getting so much work
0.06 done that I almost run out of work if
0.06 that makes sense because work makes me
0.06 happy and so I just devour it and my
0.06 list of stuff that I need to get done
0.06 every single day just gets destroyed
0.06 very quickly because I&;m able to focus
0.06 down on it so I&;m just I&;m almost I
0.06 would used to have to work like 12 hours
0.06 a day I can get that done in almost like
0.06 eight to ten hours and then it leaves a
0.06 ton of time to watch like CEO interviews
0.06 and whatnot but the cool thing about it
0.06 is because I&;m happy doing these things
0.06 I&;m able to focus on my goals a lot
0.06 better and because they make me happy
0.06 doing these things I&;m motivated to do
0.06 them and the key to staying focused on
0.06 something is first off being excited
0.06 about if you&;re not excited about
0.06 something it&;s not making you happy
0.06 you&;re not going to be able to focus on
0.06 there&;s no way around this you&;re just
0.06 draining your willpower mean at that
0.06 point and how willpower works in your
0.06 head when you&;re doing something you
0.06 don&;t want to do you can only do that
0.06 for so long I&;m not gonna explain this
0.06 very well but there is a chemical in
0.06 your head that basically controls your
0.06 willpower and it gets drained very
0.06 quickly if you&;re using it you don&;t
0.06 have a lot of it it&;s a very small gas
0.06 tank but if you&;re excited about what
0.06 you&;re doing you&;re not draining that
0.06 chemical you&;re triggering tons of
0.06 dopamine you&;re experiencing a lot of
0.06 positive emotions that&;s not being
0.06 drained cuz you want to do it so when I
0.06 get up it&;s a lot easier for me to focus
0.06 on working it&;s a lot easier for me to
0.06 be very excited about it because I&;m
0.06 excited about I want to do more work and
0.06 I want to do extra things I used to not
0.06 enjoy doing like for example doing CEO
0.06 interviews the one I did with Nathan
0.06 last week and I plan to do a lot more
0.06 I&;m motivated to do that and actually go
0.06 network with people because I find
0.06 people interesting again okay do a
0.06 certain extent and I find going out
0.06 there and talking and learning from
0.06 people a lot more interesting again and
0.06 when I get done working
0.06 I find going and watching CEO interviews
0.06 and watching all the beneficial things
0.06 that you can find on YouTube which are
0.06 mostly again just going to be CEOs
0.06 talking about their experiences scaling
0.06 companies that&;s at least what I watch
0.06 or reading it&;s going to become
0.06 enjoyable to you again because it&;s
0.06 going to trigger those levels of
0.06 dopamine it&;s the least going to trigger
0.06 more dopamine and staring at a wall and
0.06 since your options are stare at a wall
0.06 work or do beneficial educational stuff
0.06 it&;s going to trigger that dopamine and
0.06 get you those happiness cell
0.06 which then because you&;re making
0.06 progress in your career you&;re learning
0.06 more you&;re becoming smarter you&;re
0.06 gonna feel like you have higher value
0.06 thus you&;re going to feel better long
0.06 term so it all combines onto itself so
0.06 focus wise everything&;s been through the
0.06 roof and the thing I want to stress from
0.06 this is you don&;t have cravings as you
0.06 stop looking to other things to make you
0.06 happy and needing them what is then
0.06 going to happen is the focus skyrockets
0.06 again because you&;re not thinking about
0.06 these things they don&;t take up your
0.06 mental brainpower I&;m not sitting around
0.06 thinking about next time I&;m gonna get
0.06 drunk or the next time I&;m gonna play
0.06 video games next time I&;m gonna do this
0.06 because you no longer have those things
0.06 in your head they&;re no longer options
0.06 if you&;re just like I&;m never going to
0.06 do these things again at least during
0.06 this time period of my life you don&;t
0.06 have those temptations anymore and
0.06 because that you just you Sully don&;t
0.06 have to play that argument game with
0.06 your brain because what happens when
0.06 you&;re working oh man I really want to
0.06 go play World of Warcraft oh I really
0.06 want to go eat right now oh I really
0.06 want to go out and drink and and do
0.06 whatever and as you can see my body
0.06 naturally defaults to debauchery okay
0.06 I&;m a very debaucherous guy so doesn&;t
0.06 mean just being like Oh Momo kun this is
0.06 what you should do I love to go get
0.06 messed up it&;s great time okay so to
0.06 counter those arguments in your head
0.06 that constantly trigger on Friday night
0.06 so let&;s go get some ice cream let&;s go
0.06 watch six hours of TV that takes a lot
0.06 of energy takes a lot of fighting with
0.06 your brain that destroys focus so that&;s
0.06 why I love this because you start to
0.06 fall in love with being disciplined
0.06 because you you no longer have those
0.06 urges so again when I was on this plane
0.06 it was it was just so weird to me that I
0.06 could sit there without my phone I
0.06 didn&;t need to focus on anything I just
0.06 look at the window and be amused like a
0.06 child and also for one of the first
0.06 times in my life I wasn&;t sitting around
0.06 thinking about all the negative things I
0.06 could do was actually think about how I
0.06 can avoid these things more because it
0.06 was becoming more like a game because
0.06 because I&;m noticing that my happiness
0.06 levels are going up and up and up as I
0.06 become more and more disciplined that&;s
0.06 that&;s the funny thing about this you
0.06 think doing this is going to make you
0.06 depressed but it&;s the opposite doing
0.06 this makes you happier because
0.06 everything that you&;re getting
0.06 satisfaction from also improves your
0.06 life now I know I&;m ranting a little bit
0.06 about this I just really want to explain
0.06 this well to you and so you fall in love
0.06 with discipline you stop having to have
0.06 those arguments in your head
0.06 so you&;re just able to focus because the
0.06 only thing in your life is the important
0.06 things to you which is right now for me
0.06 work that&;s it that&;s it and so I don&;t
0.06 I&;m not having any arguments that take
0.06 me off in other directions anymore of my
0.06 head and so focus is through the roof
0.06 and the one last thing I want to leave
0.06 it at is if you remove one or two things
0.06 or you keep two or three bad habits it
0.06 makes everything else worse I&;ve noticed
0.06 that by just completely giving up all
0.06 the bad habits every habit you give up
0.06 makes the next one easier to give up and
0.06 makes it easier and easier when you&;ve
0.06 just gotten rid of everything that&;s
0.06 when it really starts to click and so
0.06 I&;m encouraging right now if you&;re
0.06 thinking about maybe like doing a
0.06 nightmare mode or something like that
0.06 you can&;t do it halfway you can&;t just
0.06 go and say well I&;m gonna still play
0.06 video game you can&;t you can&;t have
0.06 these extreme dopamine detox it&;s like
0.06 alright I&;m gonna give up drinking I&;m
0.06 gonna give up cigarettes I&;m gonna give
0.06 a bad food but I&;m gonna kay Schilling
0.06 you heroin because then your body&;s just
0.06 gonna completely default to heroin you
0.06 can&;t give yourself an out here&;s what
0.06 I&;m saying you have you have to isolate
0.06 everything
0.06 so finally health-wise how is it helped
0.06 me overall so obviously people say
0.06 there&;s all sorts of benefits with not
0.06 mounting the manticore and all these
0.06 things honestly my skin&;s been a lot
0.06 better my focus has been a lot better I
0.06 don&;t think that&;s related to health
0.06 honestly it&;s just it&;s just a lot
0.06 easier to maintain I really really
0.06 healthy diet which again leads to focus
0.06 it&;s also the thing about this is when
0.06 you&;re more disciplined you&;re able to
0.06 do all the health things that you were
0.06 constantly putting off before so
0.06 meditating sticking to a really good
0.06 skin care regimen sticking the juicing
0.06 sticking to absolutely keeping crap out
0.06 of your body that becomes a lot easier
0.06 and so I don&;t I think overall when
0.06 you&;re not mounting the manticore
0.06 there&;s all sorts of stuff that comes
0.06 with saving nutrients and whatnot my
0.06 skin looks a lot better overall I feel a
0.06 lot thinner a lot more leaner a lot less
0.06 inflammation I don&;t know if that&;s all
0.06 connected but I know what is connected
0.06 is through the the higher sense of
0.06 discipline what is connected is
0.06 achieving or more so being able to hit
0.06 that list of health things you want to
0.06 do every day it&;s a lot easier for me to
0.06 work out it&;s a lot easy for me to
0.06 meditate it&;s a lot easier for me to
0.06 stick to juicing skincare all the things
0.06 I&;ve mentioned so far and so that
0.06 overall definitely definitely improved
0.06 health
0.06 and I and I think overall when you think
0.06 about health as far as mental clarity or
0.06 at least sense of well-being that is so
0.06 much higher because when when you&;re
0.06 going through all these unnatural
0.06 dopamine toxification which is a poor
0.06 way to describe just watching television
0.06 and interacting with all the things that
0.06 we have in our day-to-day life to dis
0.06 just it&;s just too much you have a lot
0.06 of lows because you&;re constantly going
0.06 from billionaire level to poor level
0.06 when it comes to dopamine your constant
0.06 going from way too high and super
0.06 desensitized to nothingness and this is
0.06 why you can&;t see people sit down
0.06 without looking at their phone you can
0.06 just you can literally see their brains
0.06 they can&;t they can&;t stand existing
0.06 without something to distract them and
0.06 that&;s just the dopamine it&;s not
0.06 because they&;re depressed and they hate
0.06 themselves or life is terrible it&;s
0.06 because they cannot cope with existing
0.06 because their dopamine levels are so
0.06 desensitized it&;s just existing is
0.06 extremely painful when your body is so
0.06 desensitized the dopamine it needs such
0.06 huge hits just to feel okay and I think
0.06 that leads to the depression I think
0.06 that leads to feeling isolated and I
0.06 think that leads to a real negative
0.06 outlook because if you&;re not being
0.06 distracted you&;re in a state of pain and
0.06 if you&;re in a state of pain you&;re not
0.06 gonna be a happy overall guy and so I
0.06 think health-wise that&;s a huge benefit
0.06 as well so that&;s just everything I just
0.06 I just wanted to get this all out there
0.06 one to shoot this video for you guys I
0.06 don&;t think there&;s any more to add if
0.06 you have questions below let me know at
0.06 the end of this video there&;s a link to
0.06 a dopamine detox video there also be a
0.06 link to the first video on this which I
0.06 think you should watch because it really
0.06 explains the concept of how everything
0.06 interacts together and so that&;s it be
0.06 sure to LIKE subscribe hit that
0.06 notification button because what I do is
0.06 I run ads to people that fit right in
0.06 that demographic okay I can actually
0.06 target down than add words and I used to
0.06 make a lot of beginners courses that
0.06 taught people how to build their first
0.06 businesses and whatnot I used to charge
0.06 thousands of dollars for those if you
0.06 see this ad you will just get those
0.06 courses for free I only spend a couple
0.06 bucks a day on that ad but if you want
0.06 to see that you have to like subscribe
0.06 hit a notification bell and you&;ll fall
0.06 into that slot and my Google ads that
0.06 will target you so that&;s it all the
0.06 other videos that relate to this or
0.06 after this video and that&;s it that&;s it
0.06 I&;m never I&;m never filming like this
0.06 again by the way
0.06 this has been so weird
