Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: how are you doing this morning good very good it’s nice to see you all wow um it’s been an incredible week for me and uh some of the people here um Uncle John Pastor John and myself and uh 40 other unification leaders and pastors and youth pastors this week just participated in oh and on Sharon Sharon was there too yeah a few of us were there and we participated in a conference a Christian organized conference in Greensboro called the setree global Summit the setfree summit and basically what this Summit is about is is get together a an inter denominational group of people to help discuss and find solutions to the epidemic of pornography in our world in our culture um it was very interesting we had within one week 40 people sign up to go to this conference with within our church and there was a total of 800 people so we had the largest group and it was about 5% of the entire group that was there um there were about 30 speakers that spoke on the issue of pornography it was you know the best and I actually know a lot of them I’ve heard them speak before because my my line of work the best of the best in this area in different areas of groups um different organization there was a Catholic priest father Shan that spoke there was a few Mormon speakers that came up and the director of it Josh McDow who was you know up there with Rick Warren in the Christian Community met Josh mdal who’s written more than hundred books um came to meet our group and greet us and he expressed his heart he said to us our group of 40 people he said this is not you know the issue of pornography is something that of course is little discussed and everyone is dealing with in a very um a very secretive way and it’s it’s something that shouldn’t be we shouldn’t be ashamed of and he he said that the issue of Isis Isis is not an enemy this is what he shared with Isis is not our enemy the enemy is the Fortified culture that we live in and so what I realize you know I’m I’m 23 I’m very young I’m almost 24 years old I’m I’m considered a millennial I think or the Generation Y or X I don’t care I don’t know but I guess I’m a millennial and the studies I show that people growing up in the millennial demographic generally think that pornography is not an issue what’s the big deal it’s not affecting me it’s not affecting my family my relationship with my wife and my girlfriend and because I grew up in this generation I kind of went into this conference with in the back of my mind thinking you know what’s the big deal is it really worth getting a group of 800 people you know and bringing our church leaders together to to talk about this issue you know even even though I’ve been counseling people in this issue and because of my work I I know that I know the seriousness of it in our blessed families in our couples but even with that I was like what’s the big deal you know kind of just like that and I went went to this conference like this and what I realized and what I’ve learned is that this is this is an issue that everyone is is very affected by I mean we had 40 people who just you know gave up their lives lives for an entire week and decideed to go to North Carolina with with no information about what this about because they dealt with this issue in their families in their couples in their own marriage in their communities the people that they’ve counseled on a regular routine basis so we all came together and we just discussed about this and what I realized is that this is it really does affect everyone our culture even if we’re not affected by it directly in our lives every man and growing amount of women deals with this in some way or has on a regular basis or knows people that are dealing with it in a substantial way and what I’m I guess what I’m here to talk about and mention is that the issue is not the issue is that it’s something that is keeping us in hiding it’s something that grows on us and keeps keeps us from sharing openly and talking about openly you know one one of the aspect of it is that there’s the the people that are are using men and women that are using pornography and giving power to this pornified culture and on the other side there’s a pornographers just look at just look up the stats on how many how much prostitution and druggies is going on the other side of this it’s actually quite hope it sounds very hopeless and daunting but when you go to this when I went to this conference and I heard the testimonies of these people that are in these fields doing real work who really changing there’s one group that that’s you know something about ending exploitation sexual exploitation one group group of people Don Hawkins she is directly influencing in a huge way the the policies such as you know five different hotels like high Hotel the way that Facebook does their policies the way that Google does their policies there this group of organization is directly influencing that and it was really inspiring to see how one person and a few people can do real substantial work in this anyways I realized you know going to this mindset with like what’s the big deal I realize that this is not just a soccer mom thing to complain about it’s not just the oh you know got to save the children we’ got to we got to protect the eyes of our children this is something that is affecting young men older men young women and older women in our church in the Christian church and everyone in the world the newest statistics they did a $250,000 study on the issue of pornography and they found that one out of three Americans one Americans are dealing with on a monthly basis so so what that says to me is that because it’s such an undis little discussed topic this is something that deserves all of our attention this is something deserves my attention more than you know more than I give it and it’s something that is affecting me and it’s affecting all of us in in a big way and the point is to not you know go on campaigns I don’t think we should do that I just feel like we should be more aware informed ourselves and we should be open to sharing about it publicly right um so that’s kind of what I share and what I realized is is that this is this is like metaphorically this is World War III is how I feel and I’ve I’ve concluded that this is really something that’s worth fighting against and what was interesting about our group we had one we had an H2 person we had an H1 person we had an H7 H9 anyways people of all kind kinds of different beliefs and backgrounds and then we realize is like you know okay division different leaderships that’s all in in in the scope of this issue that’s all minute that’s all small every Community Faith group every nation and culture in the world is being is struggling with this on a regular basis everyone I even had an older an older first generation man come to me during the conference happily married happily blessed for many years and I was really surprised you know that this this man was struggling with pornography even six months ago that’s not to say that you know I’m not trying to say that I’m really shocked that you you know did this I’m just I’m I’m surprised that this is an issue that that many every man is struggling with and and and women and men and women you know come to a place where they’re not they either when they find out or they’re confided in about this they either freak out and say oh my God you you’ve betrayed me I I feel like I’m being cheated on you know or on the other side you know when we find out it’s like oh you know I have no idea I don’t I don’t really care and that doesn’t really help there’s like two two sides of the spectrum um but the but the solution I find find is that we’re informed so that we know how to deal with it in a in a real way and we know that everyone is dealing with this everyone everyone is everyone is interacting with it somehow in our culture in our world so anyways I didn’t want to come here and Ranch about it but the point I’m trying to make is that I see hope I see a lot of Hope and and just by sharing the STA statistics is not very helpful because it’s kind of hopeless but if you listen to these testimonies people who are really doing great work and really have come to amazing place they are really passionate about this and it’s something that I was you know over 30 organizations at this conference you can’t even visit them all who are covering every single every single topic in the area of pornography and sexual exploitation and addiction they’re covering it and they’re serving the area so well you know so I feel really hopeful um I feel a a mission personally to to bring awareness about this and and help young man that can find in me help them realize you know I’m not going to I’m not going to judge you no matter how how old you are how young you are you know you know the earliest pornography viewing is from 6 to 11 years old on average normal um so I want to let people know you know you can trust me you can find me and I won’t judge you I won’t I won’t you know I won’t hurt you don’t worry about it you know let’s deal with this together so any I just want to add Uncle John asked me to share a little bit about that so thank you .
