physical issue a bodily impulse a habit maybe even a shameful addiction But I need to tell you today it’s deeper than that So much deeper You think you’re just dealing with your body but really you’re in a battle for your spirit You’re not just fighting hormones You’re fighting hell Because the moment you gave your life to Christ the enemy lost ownership But he didn’t lose interest He knows he can’t take your salvation So what does he do he tries to sabotage your calling He tries to confuse your identity And one of his most consistent most overlooked weapons is temptation that leads to condemnation Now I’m not saying every time you’re tempted as a demon crawling on your shoulder whispering in your ear No But I am saying this The enemy will absolutely use temptation especially sexual temptation to twist your thinking distort your self-worth and keep you caught in a cycle of sin and shame so you never walk in the boldness God has called you to The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that we wrestle not against flesh and blood That means your issue isn’t just your hands It’s the unseen powers working behind the scenes It’s not just what you’re doing It’s what’s being done to you in the spiritual realm You keep trying to fight with filters and screen time limits and accountability apps And those tools can help but what you’re really up against is something no app can block something no setting can silence You’re up against spiritual warfare The enemy’s plan is strategic It’s quiet It’s clever He doesn’t come at you headon with horns and smoke and flames He doesn’t need to He just waits until you’re tired until you’re lonely until you’re scrolling alone at midnight and no one’s watching That’s when he whispers the lie Just one more time It’s not a big deal And then the moment you fall he changes costumes He switches from tempter to accuser and says « Look at you You’re disgusting You’ll never get free God can’t use someone like you. » You see the trap first he lures you into the sin Then he uses the sin to define you That’s why I’m saying this is spiritual The physical action is just a visible fruit but the root is the battle in your mind in your soul in your spirit And if you don’t see that if you don’t acknowledge that you’re in a war you’ll keep trying to fix spiritual strongholds with physical strategies It’s like trying to fix a virus by cleaning your phone screen It looks clean on the outside but the problem is running in the background where you can’t see it You can’t win a spiritual battle by trying harder You win it by surrendering deeper And here’s the other thing I want you to catch The enemy isn’t just after your purity He’s after your power because purity protects clarity When you’re constantly wrapped in guilt shame secrecy you lose confidence You stop praying bold prayers You stop dreaming big dreams You stop leading stop serving stop stepping out because something in you says « Who am I to be used by God when I keep messing up like this? » The enemy knows he can’t change God’s mind about you So he works overtime to change your mind about God and about yourself He wants to wear you out spiritually He wants you to show up to church with your hands lifted but your heart heavy He wants you to worship with your mouth but still walk in chains behind the scenes And as long as you think this is just about behavior modification instead of spiritual warfare you’ll never break free You’ll just keep managing the struggle instead of destroying the stronghold And let me tell you something else You can’t defeat what you refuse to define If you keep calling it just a little struggle if you keep treating it like a minor issue if you keep telling yourself everybody does it it’s not that deep You’re giving permission to something that is robbing you of peace power and purpose It’s time to call it what it is Not to condemn you but to free you Because once you recognize that it’s not just about physical gratification but about a spiritual invasion that’s when you start fighting differently That’s when you start praying with authority That’s when you stop running from God when you fall and start running to him because you know he’s your source of strength And listen you are not weak because you’re tempted Jesus was tempted in every way And he was the son of God Temptation is not a sign that you’re unholy It’s a sign that you’re human But staying stuck in it that’s where the enemy wants you But God is calling you higher He’s saying « I’ve given you the weapons you need You don’t have to bow to the lie You don’t have to repeat the cycle You are more than a conqueror through Christ So stop just managing the physical Start fighting the spiritual Stop trying harder and start standing be real Nobody wakes up one day and says « I want to be addicted to this I want to carry around shame I want to hide part of my life from the people who love me. » No This thing grows over time It starts small It starts subtle and before you know it it becomes a way to cope a way to escape a way to feel something when everything else feels numb What we often label as lust may actually be loneliness What we assume is perversion might actually be pain What looks like a porn problem could actually be an identity problem that started years ago with rejection abandonment or trauma that never got healed And I need you to know God doesn’t just want to deliver you from the symptom He wants to heal you at the root because you can stop the act temporarily but if the wound stays open the craving will keep coming back Let me explain it like this If you had a fever and I gave you Tylenol to bring the fever down you might feel better for a while but if the infection is still in your body that fever is coming back because the fever is just the body’s way of telling you something deeper is wrong And that’s what masturbation often is It’s not just sin trying to control you It’s a signal trying to reveal something You don’t just need behavior management You need soul healing A lot of people are walking around trying to stop the action but never letting God heal the ache They’re deleting apps making promises going cold turkey and then wondering why the temptation always comes back stronger It’s because the behavior was never the root It was just the result See the enemy is not just strategic He’s a psychologist He studies your patterns He knows what triggers you He knows what memories you still haven’t faced He knows what wounds never got addressed So when stress hits when anxiety rises when you feel rejected or invisible he doesn’t need to attack with new weapons He just pulls you back to old comforts cuz he knows what you run to when you don’t run to God Masturbation becomes a counterfeit comfort It feels like control in a world that feels out of control It feels like connection in a season of isolation It’s fast It’s accessible And it doesn’t ask anything of you But it always takes more than it gives It costs you confidence It costs you clarity It costs you spiritual momentum because every time you engage with it you’re reinforcing a lie I need this to feel okay But can I tell you something god never designed you to cope He designed you to conquer And as long as you keep medicating your pain with the very thing that’s making you sicker you’ll never experience the healing that’s available to you This is why God isn’t just calling you to stop He’s calling you to surrender to let him dig deeper to let him speak into the real reason you keep coming back to the same place He wants to go into the insecurity the childhood trauma the rejection that still stings the loneliness you haven’t admitted Because when you let him deal with the why he can start setting you free from the what Now let’s be clear This doesn’t mean the temptation will disappear overnight It doesn’t mean the struggle evaporates just because you prayed once But it does mean you stop walking in circles and start walking in truth Because now you know it’s not just about willpower It’s about worship It’s about where you run when you’re hurting Who you trust when you feel empty And I want you to know God isn’t mad at you for struggling He’s not surprised He’s not disgusted He’s not pacing in heaven saying « I can’t believe they messed up again. » No he’s saying « Come to me Let me heal what’s broken Let me fill what’s empty Let me show you that my presence is more satisfying than your patterns. » See the enemy wants you to believe that your behavior defines you But God says « Your behavior is not your identity It’s an indicator of what needs healing. » That’s good news That means you’re not stuck That means you’re not broken beyond repair That means God doesn’t just want to forgive you He wants to transform you from the inside out So instead of just trying to manage the symptom ask God « What’s the root what’s the lie I’ve been believing what wound have I been trying to numb instead of heal? » Because once you start healing at the root you won’t need the same release You’ll find a new rhythm a new strength a new source You’ll stop looking for cheap affection and start walking in your real identity And you’ll see this wasn’t just about breaking a habit It was about breaking free There’s a reason the enemy wants you to keep it quiet There’s a reason he keeps telling you « Don’t talk about that Don’t tell anybody Don’t admit you’re struggling. » Because the enemy thrives in darkness His power isn’t just in the temptation It’s in your secrecy If he can get you to hide it he can get you to stay stuck in it That’s why shame is such a powerful weapon Shame doesn’t say you did something wrong Shame says you are something wrong And as long as you believe that lie you’ll keep covering up Instead of confessing you’ll keep avoiding people who care and running from the very God who wants to restore you But here’s the truth Freedom doesn’t come from hiding Freedom comes from exposing Not in a reckless way not in a self- condemning way but in a way that says « God I’m done pretending I’m ready to be real. » Because what stays in the dark grows in the dark But the moment you drag it into the light The moment you speak it out loud something starts to break The enemy loses his grip his voice gets quieter That weight on your chest starts to lift This is why James 5:16 says « Confess your sins to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed. » Notice it doesn’t say « So you may be forgiven. » You’re already forgiven by God The cross covered that But healing healing often comes through confession Healing comes through community That means some of you have been forgiven but not healed because you’re still hiding And I know why we do it I know it’s scary to be honest I know it’s terrifying to let someone see the parts of you that don’t match the version you present You’re thinking « If they knew what I struggled with they’d never look at me the same Or worse what if they reject me? » But listen secrecy is the breeding ground of shame And the more you hide the more power the enemy gains That’s exactly how he works He isolates you He tells you « You’re the only one Nobody else deals with this. » And you start to feel like you’re the exception to grace the outlier to God’s love like everyone else gets to be free but you’re stuck forever But here’s the lie You’re not alone You’re not the only one who’s battled with this You’re not the only one who’s cried yourself to sleep wondering why you keep going back to the same thing You’re not the only one who’s felt the tension of loving God but still struggling with lust And the very thing you think disqualifies you from community might be the very thing God wants to use in community There is power in saying « Hey I’ve been struggling but I don’t want to hide anymore. » There is healing in the moment you get honest not just with God but with someone who can walk with you pray with you remind you who you are when the enemy is yelling lies in your ear And let me just say this you don’t need everyone to know You don’t need to post it on social media or tell your whole small group every detail but you do need someone You need a safe place to confess Someone mature in the faith Someone who isn’t going to shame you but isn’t going to coddle your sin either Someone who says « I see you I love you And I’m not letting you stay in bondage when God has called you to freedom. » Because truth sets you free but only the truth you’re willing to face You can’t conquer what you keep concealing You can’t be delivered from what you won’t define And you’ll never walk in victory if you’re more committed to protecting your image than to pursuing your healing And listen this is not about exposing yourself to judgment It’s about exposing the lie that says you’re stuck You’re dirty You’re unworthy of being used by God Cuz the truth God already knows He saw the fall He heard the click He knew the thought before it even formed in your mind And he’s not shocked He’s not walking away He’s not saying « Figure it out and then come back to me. » No he’s standing right there in the mess arms wide open saying « Let’s deal with this together. » And the enemy can’t handle that because demons can’t survive in the light They feed on your silence But the moment you open your mouth and say « I’m not hiding this anymore. » Something supernatural happens Chains start to break Strongholds start to crumble You stop living under a cloud of guilt and start walking in the freedom Jesus already paid for You’re not disqualified because you’ve struggled You’re empowered because you’re willing to fight And the way you fight isn’t by pretending It’s by exposing It’s by saying « This isn’t who I am This doesn’t define me and I refuse to give darkness what belongs in the light. » So today maybe the most spiritual thing you can do isn’t to pray harder or try harder Maybe the most powerful thing you can do is pick up the phone call a mentor talk to your pastor confess to your accountability partner and tell the truth Because when you bring it into the light you don’t just break the cycle You break the silence you break the shame you break the stronghold and you walk out of darkness into destiny One of the most dangerous things the enemy ever convinced believers to do is to only fight battles in the flesh He wants you to believe that you can overcome a spiritual stronghold with natural strength that if you just read enough self-help books download the right app watch the right motivational videos maybe just maybe you’ll beat it And while some of those things can be helpful they are not enough Because this is not just a habit issue This is not just a willpower issue This is a spiritual issue And spiritual problems require spiritual solutions The word of God says in Corinthians 10:04 « The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. » Strongholds aren’t broken by trying harder They’re broken by tapping into something higher And that’s why if you’re going to overcome cycles like masturbation you’re going to have to stop depending on flesh and start walking in authority The enemy doesn’t want you to know this but you have spiritual weapons You have divine authority When Jesus died on that cross and walked out of that tomb he didn’t just purchase your forgiveness He purchased your freedom That means you’re not fighting for victory You’re fighting from victory but you’ve got to start using the weapons you’ve been given Let’s talk about them The first weapon is the word of God Jesus himself used scripture to resist the devil in the wilderness Every time the enemy came at him with a temptation Jesus responded with « It is written. » Why because the word is a sword It’s not just a book It’s a weapon And if you’re not armed with the word you’re walking into battle unarmed When you fill your heart with truth lies start to lose their grip You stop believing that you’re stuck You stop believing that you’ll never change You stop believing that this is just who you are Cuz you start declaring things like « I am the righteousness of God in Christ I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength Sin shall no longer have dominion over me There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. » You’re not just reading words You’re swinging your sword The second weapon is prayer Not casual quiet time prayer Not bless my food and help me sleep well prayer I’m talking about warfare prayer The kind of prayer that stirs your spirit and silences the lies in your mind The kind of prayer that says « God I don’t want to live this way anymore I’m calling on heaven I’m taking authority in Jesus’ name. » The enemy fears a praying believer because when you pray you shift atmospheres You strengthen your spirit You confuse hell because hell knows when a believer starts praying chains start shaking But don’t just pray for deliverance Pray for discernment Pray that God will show you the patterns the triggers the hidden cracks where the enemy keeps sneaking in Because sometimes God doesn’t just remove the temptation He gives you wisdom to avoid the trap altogether The third weapon is worship You’d be surprised how much bondage breaks in the presence of God Because when you worship especially in the middle of your struggle you’re reminding the enemy I know who I belong to I know who I am I know who my source is Worship shifts your focus off your failure and onto your father It realigns your heart with his love It drowns out the voice of shame and fills the room with grace Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do when you feel temptation rising is to throw your hands up open your mouth and start worshiping like the battle’s already won Because in Christ it is And the fourth weapon is community You weren’t meant to fight this battle alone The devil wants you isolated so he can keep you ineffective But when you connect with people who are full of faith full of truth full of Holy Spirit fire you get stronger You start to realize you’re not weird You’re not broken You’re not alone You got people who will lift your arms when you’re tired remind you of your calling and pray over you when you feel like giving up And last but definitely not least the Holy Spirit is your secret weapon He is your power He is your conviction He is your comforter your teacher your strength The spirit of God inside of you is not intimidated by your struggle He’s not surprised by your patterns He’s ready to empower you to live holy not by your strength but by his Galatians 5:16 says « Walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. » That’s the key You don’t overcome the flesh by trying to crush it harder You overcome it by walking closer with the spirit by listening to his voice by leaning into his presence by letting him change your desires from the inside out You see the more you feed your spirit the stronger it gets And the stronger your spirit gets the weaker those chains become until one day you look up and realize they’re gone The grip is broken The shame is lifted The habit has lost its hold Not because you were perfect but because you used the right weapons So today stop swinging in the dark Stop fighting with flesh and start fighting with faith You have what you need You’re not powerless You’re not defeated You’ve been given authority Now it’s time to 35.12 can&;t use someone like you." You see the
35.12 trap first he lures you into the
35.12 sin Then he uses the sin to define
35.12 you That&;s why I&;m saying this is
35.12 spiritual The physical action is just a
35.12 visible fruit but the root is the battle
35.12 in your mind in your soul in your spirit
35.12 And if you don&;t see that if you don&;t
35.12 acknowledge that you&;re in a war you&;ll
35.12 keep trying to fix spiritual strongholds
35.12 with
35.12 physical strategies It&;s like trying to
35.12 fix a virus by cleaning your phone
35.12 screen It looks clean on the outside but
35.12 the problem is running in the background
35.12 where you can&;t see it You can&;t win a
35.12 spiritual battle by trying harder You
35.12 win it by surrendering deeper And here&;s
35.12 the other thing I want you to catch The
35.12 enemy isn&;t just after your purity
35.12 He&;s after your
35.12 power because purity protects
35.12 clarity When you&;re constantly wrapped
35.12 in guilt shame secrecy you lose
35.12 confidence You stop praying bold prayers
35.12 You stop dreaming big dreams You stop
35.12 leading stop serving stop stepping out
35.12 because something in you says "Who am I
35.12 to be used by God when I keep messing up
35.12 like this?" The enemy knows he can&;t
35.12 change God&;s mind about you So he works
35.12 overtime to change your mind about God
35.12 and about yourself He wants to wear you
35.12 out
35.12 spiritually He wants you to show up to
35.12 church with your hands lifted but your
35.12 heart heavy He wants you to worship with
35.12 your mouth but still walk in chains
35.12 behind the scenes And as long as you
35.12 think this is just about behavior
35.12 modification instead of spiritual
35.12 warfare you&;ll never break free You&;ll
35.12 just keep managing the struggle instead
35.12 of destroying the stronghold And let me
35.12 tell you something else You can&;t defeat
35.12 what you refuse to define
35.12 If you keep calling it just a little
35.12 struggle if you keep treating it like a
35.12 minor issue if you keep telling yourself
35.12 everybody does it it&;s not that deep
35.12 You&;re giving permission to something
35.12 that is robbing you of peace power and
35.12 purpose It&;s time to call it what it is
35.12 Not to condemn you but to free you
35.12 Because once you recognize that it&;s not

35.12 start running to him because you know
35.12 he&;s your source of strength And listen
35.12 you are not weak because you&;re tempted
35.12 Jesus was tempted in every way And he
35.12 was the son of
35.12 God Temptation is not a sign that you&;re
35.12 unholy It&;s a sign that you&;re human But
35.12 staying stuck in it that&;s where the
35.12 enemy wants you But God is calling you
35.12 higher He&;s saying "I&;ve given you the
35.12 weapons you need You don&;t have to bow
35.12 to the lie You don&;t have to repeat the
35.12 cycle You are more than a conqueror
35.12 through Christ So stop just managing the
35.12 physical Start fighting the spiritual
35.12 Stop trying harder and start standing
35.12 firmer in the truth Because the battle
35.12 isn&;t just about what&;s happening in
35.12 your body It&;s about what&;s happening in

35.12 lust may actually be loneliness What we
35.12 assume is perversion might actually be
35.12 pain What looks like a porn problem
35.12 could actually be an identity problem
35.12 that started years ago with rejection
35.12 abandonment or trauma that never got
35.12 healed And I need you to know God
35.12 doesn&;t just want to deliver you from
35.12 the symptom He wants to heal you at the
35.12 root because you can stop the act
35.12 temporarily but if the wound stays open
35.12 the craving will keep coming back Let me
35.12 explain it like this If you had a fever
35.12 and I gave you Tylenol to bring the
35.12 fever down you might feel better for a
35.12 while but if the infection is still in
35.12 your body that fever is coming back
35.12 because the fever is just the body&;s way
35.12 of telling you something deeper is wrong
35.12 And that&;s what masturbation often is
35.12 It&;s not just sin trying to control you
35.12 It&;s a signal trying to reveal something
35.12 You don&;t just need behavior management
35.12 You need soul
35.12 healing A lot of people are walking
35.12 around trying to stop the action but
35.12 never letting God heal the ache They&;re
35.12 deleting apps making promises going cold
35.12 turkey and then wondering why the
35.12 temptation always comes back
35.12 stronger It&;s because the behavior was
35.12 never the root It was just the
35.12 result See the enemy is not just
35.12 strategic He&;s a psychologist He studies
35.12 your patterns He knows what triggers you
35.12 He knows what memories you still haven&;t
35.12 faced He knows what wounds never got
35.12 addressed So when stress hits when
35.12 anxiety rises when you feel rejected or
35.12 invisible he doesn&;t need to attack with
35.12 new weapons He just pulls you back to
35.12 old comforts cuz he knows what you run
35.12 to when you don&;t run to God
35.12 Masturbation becomes a counterfeit
35.12 comfort It feels like control in a world
35.12 that feels out of control It feels like
35.12 connection in a season of isolation It&;s
35.12 fast It&;s accessible And it doesn&;t ask
35.12 anything of you But it always takes more
35.12 than it gives It costs you confidence It
35.12 costs you clarity It costs you spiritual
35.12 momentum because every time you engage
35.12 with it you&;re reinforcing a lie I need
35.12 this to feel okay But can I tell you
35.12 something god never designed you to cope
35.12 He designed you to conquer And as long
35.12 as you keep medicating your pain with
35.12 the very thing that&;s making you sicker
35.12 you&;ll never experience the healing
35.12 that&;s available to
35.12 you This is why God isn&;t just calling
35.12 you to stop He&;s calling you to
35.12 surrender to let him dig deeper to let
35.12 him speak into the real reason you keep
35.12 coming back to the same place He wants
35.12 to go into the insecurity the childhood
35.12 trauma the rejection that still stings
35.12 the loneliness you haven&;t admitted
35.12 Because when you let him deal with the
35.12 why he can start setting you free from
35.12 the what Now let&;s be clear This doesn&;t
35.12 mean the temptation will disappear
35.12 overnight It doesn&;t mean the struggle
35.12 evaporates just because you prayed once
35.12 But it does mean you stop walking in
35.12 circles and start walking in truth
35.12 Because now you know it&;s not just about
35.12 willpower It&;s about worship It&;s about
35.12 where you run when you&;re hurting Who
35.12 you trust when you feel empty And I want
35.12 you to know God isn&;t mad at you for
35.12 struggling He&;s not surprised He&;s not
35.12 disgusted He&;s not pacing in heaven
35.12 saying "I can&;t believe they messed up
35.12 again." No he&;s saying "Come to me Let
35.12 me heal what&;s broken Let me fill what&;s
35.12 empty Let me show you that my presence
35.12 is more satisfying than your patterns."
35.12 See the enemy wants you to believe that
35.12 your behavior defines you But God says
35.12 "Your behavior is not your identity It&;s
35.12 an indicator of what needs healing."
35.12 That&;s good news That means you&;re not
35.12 stuck That means you&;re not broken
35.12 beyond repair That means God doesn&;t
35.12 just want to forgive you He wants to
35.12 transform you from the inside out So
35.12 instead of just trying to manage the
35.12 symptom ask God "What&;s the
35.12 root what&;s the lie I&;ve been believing
35.12 what wound have I been trying to numb
35.12 instead of heal?" Because once you start
35.12 healing at the root you won&;t need the
35.12 same release You&;ll find a new rhythm a
35.12 new strength a new source You&;ll stop
35.12 looking for cheap affection and start
35.12 walking in your real identity
35.12 And you&;ll see this wasn&;t just about
35.12 breaking a habit It was about breaking
35.12 free There&;s a reason the enemy wants
35.12 you to keep it quiet There&;s a reason he
35.12 keeps telling you "Don&;t talk about that
35.12 Don&;t tell
35.12 anybody Don&;t admit you&;re struggling."
35.12 Because the enemy thrives in
35.12 darkness His power isn&;t just in the
35.12 temptation It&;s in your
35.12 secrecy If he can get you to hide it he
35.12 can get you to stay stuck in it That&;s
35.12 why shame is such a powerful weapon
35.12 Shame doesn&;t say you did something
35.12 wrong Shame says you are something wrong
35.12 And as long as you believe that lie
35.12 you&;ll keep covering up Instead of
35.12 confessing you&;ll keep avoiding people
35.12 who care and running from the very God
35.12 who wants to restore you But here&;s the
35.12 truth Freedom doesn&;t come from
35.12 hiding Freedom comes from exposing Not
35.12 in a reckless way not in a self-
35.12 condemning way but in a way that says
35.12 "God I&;m done pretending I&;m ready to be
35.12 real." Because what stays in the dark
35.12 grows in the dark But the moment you
35.12 drag it into the light The moment you
35.12 speak it out loud something starts to
35.12 break The enemy loses his grip his voice
35.12 gets quieter That weight on your chest
35.12 starts to lift This is why James 5:16
35.12 says "Confess your sins to one another
35.12 and pray for each other so that you may
35.12 be
35.12 healed." Notice it doesn&;t say "So you
35.12 may be forgiven." You&;re already
35.12 forgiven by God The cross covered that
35.12 But healing healing often comes through
35.12 confession Healing comes through
35.12 community That means some of you have
35.12 been forgiven but not healed because
35.12 you&;re still hiding And I know why we do
35.12 it I know it&;s scary to be honest I know
35.12 it&;s terrifying to let someone see the
35.12 parts of you that don&;t match the
35.12 version you present You&;re thinking "If
35.12 they knew what I struggled
35.12 with they&;d never look at me the same Or
35.12 worse what if they reject me?" But
35.12 listen secrecy is the breeding ground of
35.12 shame And the more you hide the more
35.12 power the enemy gains That&;s exactly how
35.12 he works He isolates you He tells you
35.12 "You&;re the only one Nobody else deals
35.12 with this." And you start to feel like
35.12 you&;re the exception to grace the
35.12 outlier to God&;s love like everyone else
35.12 gets to be free but you&;re stuck forever
35.12 But here&;s the lie You&;re not alone
35.12 You&;re not the only one who&;s battled
35.12 with this You&;re not the only one who&;s
35.12 cried yourself to sleep wondering why
35.12 you keep going back to the same
35.12 thing You&;re not the only one who&;s felt
35.12 the tension of loving God but still
35.12 struggling with
35.12 lust And the very thing you think
35.12 disqualifies you from community might be
35.12 the very thing God wants to use in
35.12 community There is power in saying "Hey
35.12 I&;ve been struggling but I don&;t want to
35.12 hide anymore." There is healing in the
35.12 moment you get honest not just with God
35.12 but with someone who can walk with you
35.12 pray with you remind you who you are
35.12 when the enemy is yelling lies in your
35.12 ear And let me just say this you don&;t
35.12 need everyone to
35.12 know You don&;t need to post it on social
35.12 media or tell your whole small group
35.12 every detail but you do need someone You
35.12 need a safe place to confess Someone
35.12 mature in the faith Someone
35.12 who isn&;t going to shame you but isn&;t
35.12 going to coddle your sin either Someone
35.12 who says "I see you I love you And I&;m
35.12 not letting you stay in bondage when God
35.12 has called you to freedom." Because
35.12 truth sets you free but only the truth
35.12 you&;re willing to face You can&;t conquer
35.12 what you keep concealing You can&;t be
35.12 delivered from what you won&;t define And
35.12 you&;ll never walk in victory if you&;re
35.12 more committed to protecting your image
35.12 than to pursuing your healing And listen
35.12 this is not about exposing yourself to
35.12 judgment It&;s about exposing the lie
35.12 that says you&;re stuck You&;re dirty
35.12 You&;re unworthy of being used by God Cuz
35.12 the truth God already knows He saw the
35.12 fall He heard the click He knew the
35.12 thought before it even formed in your
35.12 mind And he&;s not shocked He&;s not
35.12 walking away He&;s not saying "Figure it
35.12 out and then come back to me." No he&;s
35.12 standing right there in the mess arms
35.12 wide open saying "Let&;s deal with this
35.12 together." And the enemy can&;t handle
35.12 that because demons can&;t survive in the
35.12 light They feed on your silence But the
35.12 moment you open your mouth and say "I&;m
35.12 not hiding this
35.12 anymore." Something supernatural happens
35.12 Chains start to break Strongholds start
35.12 to crumble You stop living under a cloud
35.12 of guilt and start walking in the
35.12 freedom Jesus already paid for You&;re
35.12 not disqualified because you&;ve
35.12 struggled You&;re empowered because
35.12 you&;re willing to fight And the way you
35.12 fight isn&;t by pretending It&;s by
35.12 exposing It&;s by saying "This isn&;t who
35.12 I am This doesn&;t define me and I refuse
35.12 to give darkness what belongs in the
35.12 light." So today maybe the most
35.12 spiritual thing you can
35.12 do isn&;t to pray harder or try harder
35.12 Maybe the most powerful thing you can do
35.12 is pick up the phone call a mentor talk
35.12 to your pastor confess to your
35.12 accountability partner and tell the
35.12 truth Because when you bring it into the
35.12 light you don&;t just break the cycle You
35.12 break the
35.12 silence you break the shame you break
35.12 the stronghold and you walk out of
35.12 darkness into destiny One of the most
35.12 dangerous things the enemy ever
35.12 convinced believers to do is to only
35.12 fight battles in the flesh He wants you
35.12 to believe that you can overcome a
35.12 spiritual stronghold with natural
35.12 strength that if you just read enough
35.12 self-help books download the right app
35.12 watch the right motivational videos
35.12 maybe just maybe you&;ll beat it And
35.12 while some of those things can be
35.12 helpful they are not enough Because this
35.12 is not just a habit issue This is not
35.12 just a willpower issue This is a
35.12 spiritual issue And spiritual problems
35.12 require spiritual solutions The word of
35.12 God says in Corinthians 10:04 "The
35.12 weapons of our warfare are not carnal
35.12 but mighty through God to the pulling
35.12 down of strongholds."
35.12 Strongholds aren&;t broken by trying
35.12 harder They&;re broken by tapping into
35.12 something
35.12 higher And that&;s why if you&;re going to
35.12 overcome cycles like masturbation you&;re
35.12 going to have to stop depending on flesh
35.12 and start walking in authority The enemy
35.12 doesn&;t want you to know this but you
35.12 have spiritual weapons You have divine
35.12 authority When Jesus died on that cross
35.12 and walked out of that tomb he didn&;t
35.12 just purchase your forgiveness He
35.12 purchased your freedom That means you&;re
35.12 not fighting for victory You&;re fighting
35.12 from victory but you&;ve got to start
35.12 using the weapons you&;ve been given
35.12 Let&;s talk about them The first weapon
35.12 is the word of
35.12 God Jesus himself used scripture to
35.12 resist the devil in the wilderness Every
35.12 time the enemy came at him with a
35.12 temptation Jesus responded with "It is
35.12 written." Why because the word is a
35.12 sword It&;s not just a book It&;s a weapon
35.12 And if you&;re not armed with the word
35.12 you&;re walking into battle unarmed When
35.12 you fill your heart with truth lies
35.12 start to lose their grip You stop
35.12 believing that you&;re stuck You stop
35.12 believing that you&;ll never change You
35.12 stop believing that this is just who you
35.12 are Cuz you start declaring things like
35.12 "I am the righteousness of God in Christ
35.12 I can do all things through Christ who
35.12 gives me strength Sin shall no longer
35.12 have dominion over me There is no
35.12 condemnation for those who are in Christ
35.12 Jesus." You&;re not just reading words
35.12 You&;re swinging your sword The second
35.12 weapon is prayer Not casual quiet time
35.12 prayer Not bless my food and help me
35.12 sleep well prayer I&;m talking about
35.12 warfare prayer The kind of prayer that
35.12 stirs your spirit and silences the lies
35.12 in your mind The kind of prayer that
35.12 says "God I don&;t want to live this way
35.12 anymore I&;m calling on heaven I&;m taking
35.12 authority in Jesus&; name." The enemy
35.12 fears a praying believer because when
35.12 you pray you shift atmospheres You
35.12 strengthen your spirit You confuse hell
35.12 because hell knows when a believer
35.12 starts praying chains start
35.12 shaking But don&;t just pray for
35.12 deliverance Pray for
35.12 discernment Pray that God will show you
35.12 the patterns the triggers the hidden
35.12 cracks where the enemy keeps sneaking in
35.12 Because sometimes God doesn&;t just
35.12 remove the
35.12 temptation He gives you wisdom to avoid
35.12 the trap altogether The third weapon is
35.12 worship You&;d be surprised how much
35.12 bondage breaks in the presence of God
35.12 Because when you worship especially in
35.12 the middle of your struggle you&;re
35.12 reminding the enemy I know who I belong
35.12 to I know who I am I know who my source
35.12 is Worship shifts your focus off your
35.12 failure and onto your
35.12 father It realigns your heart with his
35.12 love It drowns out the voice of shame
35.12 and fills the room with grace Sometimes
35.12 the most powerful thing you can do when
35.12 you feel temptation rising is to throw
35.12 your hands up open your mouth and start
35.12 worshiping like the battle&;s already won
35.12 Because in Christ it is And the fourth
35.12 weapon is community You weren&;t meant to
35.12 fight this battle alone The devil wants
35.12 you isolated so he can keep you
35.12 ineffective But when you connect with
35.12 people who are full of faith full of
35.12 truth full of Holy Spirit fire you get
35.12 stronger You start to realize you&;re not
35.12 weird You&;re not broken You&;re not alone
35.12 You got people who will lift your arms
35.12 when you&;re tired remind you of your
35.12 calling and pray over you when you feel
35.12 like giving up And last but definitely
35.12 not least the Holy Spirit is your secret
35.12 weapon He is your power He is your
35.12 conviction He is your comforter your
35.12 teacher your strength The spirit of God
35.12 inside of you is not intimidated by your
35.12 struggle He&;s not surprised by your
35.12 patterns He&;s ready to empower you to
35.12 live holy not by your strength but by
35.12 his Galatians 5:16 says "Walk by the
35.12 spirit and you will not gratify the
35.12 desires of the flesh." That&;s the key
35.12 You don&;t overcome the flesh by trying
35.12 to crush it harder You overcome it by
35.12 walking closer with the spirit by
35.12 listening to his voice by leaning into
35.12 his presence by letting him change your
35.12 desires from the inside out You see the
35.12 more you feed your spirit the stronger
35.12 it gets And the stronger your spirit
35.12 gets the weaker those chains become
35.12 until one day you look up and realize
35.12 they&;re gone The grip is broken The
35.12 shame is lifted The habit has lost its
35.12 hold Not because you were perfect but
35.12 because you used the right weapons So
35.12 today stop swinging in the dark Stop
35.12 fighting with flesh and start fighting
35.12 with faith You have what you need You&;re
35.12 not powerless You&;re not defeated You&;ve
35.12 been given authority Now it&;s time to
35.12 use it This isn&;t just a struggle It&;s a
35.12 battle But the good news the victory is
35.12 already yours
